Eventhisidistaken: this is an old Gaelic quote, old enough that noone knows who originally said it.

I like:
"I wondered somebody didn't do something. Then I realized, I was somebody."

Some of each at times, but I make things happen - i know I am the one in control of my own life, and I don't wait around for something to happen on it's own. No god is going to answer a prayer to make something happen, and no evil forces are preventing me from doing anything, either.

I am a watcher of happenings. In fact, I try to dedicate my life to being an innocent bystander. Although, of course, it's not easy with an outgoing personality. Here's MY favorite quote:
"One can stay alive long past the usual date of disentigration if one is unafraid of change, insatiable in curiosity, interested in big things, and happy in small ways."
I like it because that was the way I lived my life even before I read the quote.
Edit:
Peace to you too, Bobbie!

Nobody is defined by only one of those suggestions, everyone is all of them. It should say "sometimes we make things happen, sometimes we watch things happen and othertimes we wonder what has happened?" It is more significant what different situations we react to in each of these ways.

I try to make things happen, but, I often watch what happens and wonder why it happens. Anyone who claims to never have wondered what has happened is a liar.

All three spots on different occasions. I have delusions of grandeur that I'm mostly in the first group but in reality I'm probably more in the second and third.

Sadly, I'm all three at times. I'm striving to be a person that makes things happen.
