Being an exempt employee means you are not eligible for overtime pay, but does not affect your tax status. Working for a not-for-profit company does not change your income tax liability from any other job. Since the number of dependents, etc is necessary to estimate your federal tax, the attached link is the IRS calculator where you can enter your particular situation.

I am not positive what you mean by exempt. If you are exempt from Social Security and Medicare the only thing that would be taken from your income would be withholding at a rate based on the number of allowances you claim. There are other things that may be meant by the term exempt employee. You need to clear that up with the agency.

The same as exempt employees at a for-profit business.

Since you don't give any of your personal info, it's not possible to say how much you'll be taxed let alone what will be deducted.

Employees of not for profit organizations pay income tax social security taxes like everybody else. Their wages may not be subject to unemployment taxes which would be paid by the employer.
