Hey 18 year-old looking to become a stastic? You know why insurance is so rediculously high for males under age 25? Because they statistically make the roads unsafe for everyone. Just make sure you get something loud, pimped and tint the windows. Then the cops will profile you and pull you over for no reason whatsoever. Once you get tired of getting pulled over, appearring in court, paying off fines and losing your license you'll get it.....if you live that long. Hopefully, you won't take out anyone else along the way. Here's a suggestion: Find a car that's safe, inexpensive and good on gas. You know being environmentally aware is very hot right now...save the earth and all. Think about it. Someone out there loves you and would be devastated if anything happened to you.

Good luck trying to find a new car with 60 to 75K miles on it. That would have to be one heck of a dealer demo!
I would suggest trying to find a used car. You will have better luck finding a car in your requested mileage range.
Make sure it has a BIG engine, (for POWER) and then make sure it does not cost too much (for cheapness).

At 18 powerful/fast is on your mind, but keep in mind how many kids die driving a powerful/fast car or truck. Get a little more experience driving first. Your first car should be one you can afford. Don't look for powerful/fast first, affordability should be on your mind. Especially if you want to keep it under 10 grand. Wait until you finish college or get a better paying job to get that dream car. You don't want to be stuck with a huge car payment at such a young age. You will have to work more than you can actually drive. LOL. Well good luck.

Well I would look towards a 99 Honda Prelude looks great about 200hp maybe a little more. A 00 Honda Accord V6 nice car and also 200hp pretty good. I dont know of any domestic cars worth buying with that budget. Maybe a 00 Mustang Gt 260Hp. If you have not experienced AWD (all wheel drive)cars check one out. Have fun do your research dont get stuck with a lemon.

You should be able to find lots of 3-4 year old Mustangs or Camaros for that price. you can even get a 5-6 year old Corvette for that price, but a good chance there are lots of miles on that.

Good luck, a powerfull and fast car at your age will cost approx. a 100 bucks a month for bare minimum basic type insurance...another idea may be to look into getting an older muscle car for around 10 grand.........good luck..

At your age, if you buy a sports car, be prepared for the sky-high insurance rates. Unless money is no object, get something sensible until you're at least 25.
