It's not worth your money. The series is "Left Behind". Rent or borrow the movie. I hear it's a riot.

As others have said, the left behind series....

But I MUST stress that you read the Bible about how the end will come...it talks about Jesus coming down on clouds and everyone will see....

This is obviously not how the rapture or the left behind series is...the rapture isn't a Christian, traditionally, taught doctrine. It was made up in the 1800s...not taught by Jesus.....

So be careful taking these books, and their movies, as truth.

Left Behind. there is also the kids versions, and teens. Its a long seris and I stoped reading it around the sixth book. It was ok after the third book.

Are you talking about the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins? If so, only the first book in the series is about the rapture...the rest talk about what happens after (the "end times").

I found the first book fascinating...I couldn't put it down. The movies don't do the books justice!

If you wish to read interesting literature about the Rapture, I recommend "J.O.B.: A Comedy of Justice" by Robert A. Heinlein. Most of my current attitude toward religion stems from this book.

Left Behind Series. Awesome books. Well worth reading. The authors are people who have studied the book of Revelation. I love them.

pieces of "literature"? is that some sort of euphemism for crap these days? the books are so misinformed, antiCatholic, anti-semetic, anti-women's rights that the only people who read the books seriously are mentally ill pathetic sheep who pray desperately for the world to end instead of making a serious contribution to make it a better place for our future. go volunteer for your community, be a mentor, do something that helps society instead of filling your mind with that garbage that doesn't even have any Biblical basis. it's written by a pair of con men preying on weak and fearful minds.
