If you are wondering why there is blind support for the state of Israel from Evangelical and other American Christian denominations, the answer is simple (in a complicated way) -
The fundamentalist Jews want to tear down the Islamic Al-Aqsa Mosque and rebuild the Temple of Solomon. (Which was supposedly there first.)
The Fundie Jews believe that if they do this it will bring the Messiah.
The Fundie Christians want the same thing, because they believe if the Temple is rebuilt then Jesus will come back with the Rapture and the Fire and Brimstone and whatnot.
The Fundie Christians therefore blindly support the state of Israel and the Israelis (wisely, one could argue) take full advantage of the support from the US Government.
What the Zionists do not realize is that in the Christian prophecy they will be forced to convert to Christianity or be killed.
Luckily for them there is no such thing as Jesus. Unfortunately, they still believe in rebuilding for the Messiah which is all not at all based in reality.
And then people wonder why the Muslims are pissed off. (Among other reasons.)

Perhaps because we share the same history...the Christian bible includes the Jewish texts so any question about the history of Jewish belief (as expressed in the Old Testament at least) is shared history!
...in addition, most of the original Christians including the disciples were Jewish. Not all Jews rejected Jesus! I accept the truth that many (most) of the Jewish leaders at that time rejected Jesus and labeled him a blasphemer and I wouldn't speak out in support of anything that did today, but questions about the earlier relationship between God and his "chosen" people ARE relevant to Christians.

Part of your statement is incorrect as one well knows that a lot of Jewish people who believe that Yeshua "Jesus" is the Messiah Promised by God. There are many Messianic Synagogues world wide. More Jewish people have come to faith in Yeshua in the past 20 years than the 2000 years prior.
Orthodox, conservative, and reform Judaism does not believe that Yeshua is the messiah and still await the coming of the messiah.

Jews do not believe in Jesus because of God himself. Paul states rather emphatically in his letter to the Romans that it is for our benefit that this is so:
"I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means!.....Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. 26And so ALL Israel WILL BE saved..." (Romans 11: 1, 25).

Christians OFTEN defend the Jews, although they don't believe in our Lord, we believe in their God...
They're our brothers in the eyes of God and they need our help just like w we should defend any fellow Christian.
Jews believe Jesus was real...so they do believe in Him, they just don't think He was the son of God.
Jesus wasn't a blasphemer of their religion...even the prophets of the old days foretold of Jesus' arrival, life, and death....I don't know why they don't accept them.

Christianity began out as a small cult... maximum Jews had under no circumstances even heard of Jesus on the beginning up of the effortless era. A small band of Jews who had all started following Jesus tried to convince different Jews that the Messiah had come... with little fulfillment... so this small Jesus cult desperate to unfold the observe to the gentiles instead. yet that they had hardship changing the gentiles to Judaism, because Jewish traditions have been so strict and have been extremely no longer ordinary to stick to for those no longer cited Jewish-- think of them working around telling countless Pagans they had to flow kosher and get circumsized and be taught Hebrew and be taught the Torah impulsively. It did no longer fly. They desperate that the previous covenant became now no longer mandatory and to dispense with lots of the Jewish rules. With that, extra gentiles got here on board. Little wallet of those Jesus cults began installation church homes that have been beginning off to flourish in countless places. and of path, while Constantine desperate he mandatory a extra conservative faith to objective and tame the wild, self-unfavorable habit of the Romans, and he introduced leaders of those church homes mutually, compiled the Christian Bible and unified Christianity, the church became solidified.

The Old Testament was given to us by the Jews. We are on the same page with the beliefs of the Old Testiment. If you read the Old Testiment, it describes in detail of a Messiah that would be born to a virgin.
