fiber. you'd have to eat continuously to get the full RDA, so look for supplements. (honestly, i wouldn't chug Metamucil or Benefiber if you paid me... they say it's tasteless- they lie. flat out.) I'd also get plenty of my reccommended B vitamins. Actually, a multi vitamin is an all around good idea. And keeping a balanced diet does wonders- plenty of your leafy greens and 6-8 glasses of good ol' H2O. get back to the basics so you can get back to the, um, basics- if you get my drift.

Metamucil is fiber. Fiber makes your stools healthy...that as well goes with fresh veggies...it will not be constipation and it won't be diarrhea.
Bran however will make you go often. Too often is not good for you either.
Take metamucil once or twice daily. Also, drink plenty of water. That will help things along as well.

yup definitely more fiber...it is healthy when you go atleast once a day although i dont know much who do that lol. eat or take fiber pills and you will have more firm stools and go more often then you are now, and yes metamucil would work just fine for you.

Try to get 25-30 grams per day of fiber, not supplements if you can help it, but from the food that you eat. Also try drinking plenty of water. 8 8oz glasses a day.

more fiber. As far as timing goes, you have to be on a regular eating schedule. Exercising makes you go more. (revs the metabolism)

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website
http://www.health-thin.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 5.49$ shipping and handling. Good luck!

Do you have the runs frequently or something? If so you probably have a bigger issue, imbalances of some sort, IBS, or even gluten allergies.
There really isnt a time in regular life when someone says to themselves "I wish I had firmer poop.".

less fibre, more protein. Eat well done meals such as boiled potatoes for supper instead of fries, macaroni,rice...and over cooked veges. Mine has been firm for years due to mom's meat and gravy meals where nothing had a taste special to it cause it was cooked alot(to kill the bugs)
