It ain't this one! To see how imperfect the human body is, try working in surgery for a while. Ask any good astronomer how "perfect" the universe is, and listen as he explains black holes, meteor hits, and novas. As far as natural life on this planet goes mass extinctions, genetic mutation, and adaptation of species takes place with or without human interference.
Those that can adapt survive, those that cannot become extinct: does that sound like a perfect creation to you?

Agnes: do you enjoy driving others away from your religion through your constant inane drivel?
Ask_Elvis: yes the human body is a very complex and fascinating biological machine. It is easy to appreciate the adaptations for survival that have made the human species what it is today. It is not, however, perfect and will never be. Humans will continue to adapt to suit environmental changes or become extinct.

I think it all comes down to a strong dependence on God, and therefore, a feeling of irresponsibility for your actions. I don't expect anyone to be perfect, but blaming YOUR drug and sexual addiction on some sort of mindset already borned into you is quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard. No, you can't be perfect, you may lie, or steal something, or even commit "adultery of the eyes" or whatever that's called, but engaging in intercourse with a prostitute and accepting illicit drugs is taking it a little too far. It's NOT that hard to follow the laws of the Bible and the laws of the land, they are almost one in the same, but, honestly, CHILDREN know right from wrong, why should he be let off because of his belief in God and the fact that he's a "natural born sinner." As far as I'm concerned, morality and law are completely secular.

who defines perfection or beauty?

from our perceptions, the universe may be imperfect or ugly. but those perceptions are just that: perceptions. the universe cannot definitely be ugly or beautiful. it can only be.
