You must know God, or you will die in your sins:
Jesus said:
"Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."
John 17:3
Jesus said: "You must be born again."
Read the Gospel of John, and pray for enlightenment.

Can we know the non-existent?
Since the beginning of time, there has been no evidence of a deity. Claiming there is changes nothing. God has never been shown to be any where or in any thing. We've forgotten that by presuming the opposite, we completely shut our minds of this truth. When we stop searching, we stop growing. It's impossible to answer a question we've chosen to stop asking. Claiming god is the answer, is chosing to avoid the question at all. God is not an answer, it's avoidance of an uncertain or uncomfortable answer.

I too see God and Goddess everywhere and in everything. In ALL creatures including Humans. In the Earth, the stones, the water, the trees, the Mountains, the wind and rain.... Its called Pantheism.
There's a quote from the charge of the Goddess that answers the 2nd part of your question: "We have forgotten that we know this. We are searching for the answer to the question, that we have forgotten."
It goes: "If that which thou seekest, thou findest not within then thou shalt never find it without. For behold I have been with thee from the beginning and am that which is attained at the end of desire."
Are you sure your not Pagan? ;-)

Yes we can. By the letter he sent to us humans. The bible. That is the way he uses to communicate with us. When you read the bible, you get to learn more about Jehovah's personality, characteristics and what he likes and dislikes. You can even predict what his view will be regarding a certain situation based on how he has dealt with some other or similar situations in the bible.

I sure wish you accepted email. If you hate spam as much as I do, Yahoo now has "disposable" addresses. As for your question, there's only one way to find out and that is on your knees. I challenge you to try it, in sincerity, and see what happens.

Yes, we can. In fact, He invites us to draw closer to Him at James 4:8, and by learning more about Him, we can do so.
The following links will help you get to know Him better.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

This is definitely the Buddhist/ Christian idea (this part was edited out of the bible when the church needed to get money from people feeling incomplete...dirty. We all know that truth, but many cultures try to make us forget to take our power..
