You may need to get on a steady dose of antibiotics or you can get a special laser/peel treatment. It is because you have a bacteria that is feeding on the oils in your pores. You have to eliminate the bacteria and the pimples will go away! See a good dermatologist and for heavens sake don't wear thick pancake makeup to cover them. Use a gree concealer stick and a shade of light, oil free foundation that matches your skin tone.

If you've just started the Accutane then your acne will actually get worse before it gets better and don't use over the counter acne treatments while you're on Accutane- it's overkill and can actually irritate your face. Also, ignore everyone who tells you to use Proactive- it is not effective on cystic acne. As for the cysts, your dermatologist may be able to help with shots. Good luck

You need to go back to the dermatologist and see if your accutane dosage needs to be increased. I had huge cysts, and accutane actually got rid of them. Here I am over 20 years later, and not a single cyst after the accutane.

I would try going to a different physician and asking them to lance them. That way you are having a professional take care of it and the likelihood of it getting infected is dramatically decreased.

Go to a dermatologist, sometimes they can give you a cortisone shot that will help them go away.
