I saw a show that stated that no written stories exist describing where Jesus was from 14 to 30 years of age. Any answers out there?

Jesus was known as a rebel, so I believe that he was probably on the run in his younger years from the law of the times, and not much difference than the rebels we had in the sixties, it wasn't until the last 4 years of his life that he really pissed off religious clerics in those days, the story about the messiah coming really was nothing new even during the time of Moses the people were waiting for that to happen, and so what better time to spread a story that a saviour was to be born, a king of the Jews, and from there the greatest story ever told was in the making and the rest is simply his--story.

There's alot of ideas floating around regarding this. One of these is that he travelled. There was a Saint Isa in the Far East/India who was around at that time and had alot of the same teachings, some say that he was Jesus. Also, there's a good chance he stuck around Israel and was a manual laborer for most of his life (the word for carpenter also means manual laborer, and that was a much more likely profession).

Try looking at 4Q320, 4Q321, and 4Q328.
These are documents from the Dead Sea Scrolls. They include some very interesting names, and the timeline is close enough to have been in the years you ask about. Cave 4's documents were particularly prolific and interesting.
There's another name listed that you may recognize: Hananiah, son of Simeon. (John the Baptist, or John Mark?) in 4Q477!

Kinda interesting that there is no written account of Jesus's teenage years or his 20's in the Bible, isn't it? I wonder who decided to omit that. And why....
