1 Timothy 5:21 tells us, “I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism.” No matter what view you take on election, the Bible is clear that God was somehow involved in choosing who would be saved. The same appears to be true for the angels. God’s holy angels are elect – meaning God has chosen them. It seems that God gave all of the angels a one-time choice to obey Him or not. Those that sinned and followed Lucifer are lost and condemned. Those that chose to remain loyal to God are secure in that decision. The Bible gives us no reason to believe that it is possible that more of the angels could sin.

Well, I can only answer from what I believe and I am Muslim:
Satan wasn't an Angel. He was a jin, a spirit made of fire. He was different to Angels because He can think, he had a choice, he could also make decisions and this made him higher than the Angels at that time.
Actually, he was a great server to God All Mighty but he became arrogant, jelous when the first man was created - called Adam. When Allah (God All Mighty) created Adam, He said for everyone - the Angels and the Jinns to Bow with respect to Adam. Not prostrate or worship but to bow. This was a test given by God All Mighty.
The great server at that time who is now, at present day called Satan, didn't bow. He disobeyed and replied:
"WHY should I bow to him, when I AM MADE OF FIRE and he is made of clay. I will fight him, I will deviate him, I will do all I can to make sure he loses his way and not worship you!"
Allah replied, "Then so be it. You shall be casted out of Paradise and I shall keep my promise of Hell or Heaven. And you shall have all the soldiers you need for your work. But hear me! You shall mislead men and women but you shall only mislead those who do not believe in me, who do not have faith. And anyone who follows you, I shall cast them into Hell Fire and your destiny will be in Hell Fire."
And so it began, the battle within the self of every human being. Each human being, can deny or not. The time will come when they will meet the maker.
But, Satan was not an Angel and the way the films today depict Angels have feelings, can make decisions, choices is a lie. They are innocent but powerful. They all have duties and have commanded to do these duties and they do so without any thought of not doing them or complaining.
Satan was giving the power to also have children, family and multiply. So the part of him making angels turn against God is kind of stupid. You can't turn angels away from what they are designed to be. Satan on other hand was not an Angel, he could make decisions to obey or not obey. He choose not to and his and anyone else's journey who follow him is destined to ruin.
Now, this against all the hokus, pokus stories, makes sense about Satan than the many misconceptions of what people think and what the media portrays.
And everyday, every second, every moment till we die, they are with us, writing down on our book what we do, what we say, what we believe, what we don't believe, what harm we have done, what good we did, and on that final day, we shall be a witness for or against us.
And this is the most amazing thing God designed. Imagine, you cannot lie to yourself because you are also a WITNESS against or for yourself.
Now that's genuis!

No more angels were or have been created since the first ones--when satan was created. When God cast satan out, he gave them all the choice to follow him if they thought his (satan's) way was better. They already made their choice. I don't think they would want to change their mind--seeing how things are turning out for satan and not being allowed to return to the heavenly realm.

I would say they could. Satan induced one third of the created angelic beings to turn against God. (Revelation 12:2-3) One can only imagine what he told the other angels. He probably expressed some dissatisfaction with the way God did things and implied that someone like himself would be better. Perhaps they felt they couldn't trust God anymore and proceeded to the fatal step of violence to overthrow Him.
Strange and interesting stuff!
