I want a long tree that is gonna start below my hip and stop above my breast. I want it to kinda curve around my stomach and the branches to spread around my breast and the roots to be around my hips. I only want it on one side of my body though and I would prefer it to be an oak tree. Anyway, does anyone know a website or a link where I can see tree design ideas for a tattoo????

I think that sounds like an awesome idea! It'll be very painful, but I like the area. If I wasn't such a baby I'd get a tat there too=) Here's some pictures I thought looked nice

The last one isn't a tree, but I like the idea of it being swirly and stuff

GOOD LUCK!

even with a tattoo that large a tree will look like a tree.. being that is is gonna, by the sounds of what you want, be between 20 and 40 inches at least.. might be best to talk to your tattooist and have him draw freehand.. since a stencil that large wont look good in my opinion..

if you search yahoo for images of oak trees.. there are alot of nice shapes to work with... maybe decide on the detail of the trunk.. and whether you want leaves or not.. since leaves will change the appearance.. ask your tattooist to maybe do a general sketch before you sit under the needle..

You have guts! your ribcage will burn.. i'm working up to stuff like that.. thinking of getting a cherry tree on my back..

I would do what said. I typed in "oak tree" on yahoo under images and a lot of photos came up. And, just my opinion, but unlike the first answer... I happen to think it's a great idea. I find tattoos very sexy on a woman if they are done well and with lots of intricate detail. Good luck!

you're not going to find a tattoo design website that has something like that. what you'll need to do is find a tattoo artist who is experienced in doing natural type tattoos (nick baxter comes to mind, he has done some amazing trees). a custom artist would be your best bet, someone who can freehand (draw the tattoo outline on your body and not have to transfer it from paper to skin via a stencil). if you need help finding an artist in your area just email me and i can see who i can find.
good luck!!!

Do an image search on yahoo. Search oak tree , there are many. Import the photos into paint or photo shop and you can make changes. Might I suggest you include your initials and that of a lover carved into that tree.

Whoa hold on a minute! It will be painful as that area of your torso is particularly sensitive. It will look awful when you are older as the design becomes fuzzy and blurred and your skin starts to age and your boobs will look like conkers hanging from the tree.

I don't like tattoos (can you tell?) but I did see a nice design down someone's arm today that was butterflies and flowers on a vine.
