Anywhere you are suseptible to weight gain and water retention (wrists, ankles, mid section, neck - etc) you will have some elongation and in some cases distortion of a tatoo. That is why the shoulder, lower back and upper arm are more prevelant. Good Luck!

Someone above me said that you can't get the pain killer shot for during your birth (epidural). That's not true. Your tattoo will most likely be lower than where they do the injection, and unless it's a brand new tattoo, it would be fine even it was on that exact spot. So no worries. Something else to help you make your decision besides the stretching factor: if you're afraid of needles, you might want to opt for the lower back tattoo so that you can't see the needle. Other than that, the hip is the only place that might stretch.

with your hip or lower back, it will stretch or not stretch if you gain or lose a lot of weight. but it will eventually go back to the way it was once your weight is back to what it was. on your wrist it won't stretch at all unless you gain a ton of weight. also consider that the tatts will stretch when your skin gets old and wrinkly.

There's a chance of it stretching if you put it ANYWHERE.
You could get an illness and have to get treatments that make you bloated and gain weight.
And the thing is eventually going to stretch and sag when you get into your 50's.

Inside of wrist or lower back should not stretch. But your hip? Only if you think you'll stay the same weight forever.

hip liek above if you get pregnannt yess.
Lower back if you plan on having kids you can't get the nice painkiller needle that numbs the lower half of your body that most women get now. So you'd be looking at a very very panful birth.
Wrist I mean unless you gain 200 pounds it won't stretch
