The brain has way more power than we are able to tap into. I think that ever so often we have these anomolies where we end up with psychics, "witch doctors" and medicine men. I think it is all very possible, but mankind just isn't ready yet. Think about those survival stories where people pick up cars due to adenaline rushes or those drug addicts who beat up six or seven cops by themselves b/c they are spaced out. Now imagine if we could do this stuff on the regular. The world would end in about five minutes.
