I don't think it would be.
Left feet are pretty much useless in automatics.

I wouldn't even worry about the legality, although it should be illegal if it isn't. There is no way of driving an automatic safely with the left foot. It is one thing to use the left for the brake, it is another to try to move the left foot quickly and safely from the accelerator to the brake. You can't, sorry. For those that talk about the people who only have one foot, period, I add this. If you had lost your right leg, or the use of it permanently, your car would have to be modified to allow safe driving with the left, in other words, gas pedal on the left of the brake, or possibly hand controls.

hello you would not believe this but i get this question all the time .im in the orthopaedic field and my patients are always asking me the same ? my reply is mexico is the only place im aware of that its illegal(yeah mexico of all places)but i also tell them that if you were to be in an accident when you got out of your car whether it was your fault or not you will probably get blamed for the wreck thats a no brainer especially if you have a long leg cast on (above your knee)hope this helps

I wouldn't think so, considering that you don't use your left foot at all while driving an automatic.

I wouldn't think so. As long as you can enter and exit the car safely, and it doesn't interfere with the safe operation of a vehicle, go for it.

Only if you are obviously impaired by it. I doubt you would have a problem if you can drive properly.
