Fornication. If that's what I think it is... it's A-OK with me sister. What harm can come of it... ONLY when we're talking about consenting adults... it's one of the best things we've got. (((Rae)))

Hmmmm the thumbs down fairy has visited your question twice on this one, Rae. I'm giving everyone a thumbs up to counter it.
As for fornication. If you're talking about having relations with every two leged member of the opposite gender, then I say that I'm against it. NOw if you mean with someone that you actually have intense feelings for and want to do a "test drive", as someone mentioned then I see nothing wrong with that at all. In fact, I think that it's a GOOD thing. It gives the couple a chance to determine if they will be compatible as lovers BEFORE the relationship goes beyond the irrevocable stage.

fornication has two levels of meaning, literal and spiritual. the WORD OF GOD is clear on what fornication is and does to a person's spirituality. Read Galatians 5 19-21. GOD made sex for many reasons one being to procreate, and the other to bond physically and emotionally.some of your readers reflect this in their answers.. because of the loyalty issue, this is from GOD. the other attitude is animalistic, do everything evryone all the time, etc.. that is like a dog looking for a female in heat.. what we have the choice to do is be human and not like animals, and use our minds to control and be faithful. In the animal kingdom we have some species that mate for life. To me they are smarter than others.their bond creates a better family, loyal faithful and true. So with GOD's plan for us.. now that we have an enemy, and he wants to destroy ANYTHING that is GODLY, we have free sex like animals. the other view of fornication is spiritual. In Revelation we have this word used to describe an apostate church, that causes all the world, (in general) to follow her into fornication. In this meaning it is to blend 2 concepts that do not go together and cannot mix, like water and oil. spiritually, what would this be? how about salvation by works and salvation by faith combined? how about asking the wrong entity for forgiveness of our sins and having to recite or play over a symbol however many times prescribed? how about eating certain foods on certain days of the week to show piety? how about a day of lent that is followed by a free for all party to do as you want, after paying for it..do these things sound familiar? are they what the WORD OF GOD says? or are they the commandments of men?

It is a personal choice at the end of the day. Some people chose not to fornicate because it is wrong according to the church while others because it could lead to STD. Personally I don't think it is right because if you save yourself for the one you marry it truly feels special.

fornication is sex outside of marriage. To answer the question i'm a fornicator and according to the Bible i'm a sinner. i know that the Bible painly lists fornication as a sin. But i do it anyway. I'm not a religious person. I think of myself as a "spiritual" person. I understand and have knowledge of several religious teachings i just choose not to follow any particular religious structure.

'Fornication' is used in the Bible to describe sexual activity outside of normal husband/wife relationships. The Bible forbids it. The reason the Lord puts down such rules is that He knows this sort of thing ends up hurting people. God's rules are for our good. That is a thought to ponder for awhile. Blessings to you, sweetie.

Fornication: Sex between two unmarried consenting adults..
I am all for it... I wouldn't buy a car without a test drive, I don;t see the wisdom in selecting a life partner without a test drive..
