I have three children, now grown. For me the first child was the hardest, not knowing much about babies. The second and the third just seemed to fit right in. My oldest was 6 when I had the third and he really liked to help me out. They are adults now and all three get along just fine. Show them lots of love growing up and everything else hopefully will fall into place.

We had three kids. Our first was almost 7, our second was almost 6 and then along comes # 3. The first two were 21 months apart - the third was almost 5 years later.
I spoiled him to an extent that I didn't do to the other two. I realize now that I should have been as hard on the third child as I was on the third.
Make the third go to bed at the times you made the others go to bed, make them clean up after themselves, make their bed and help with chores.
Our son really started getting spoiled about 6th or 7th grade. He got to stay up later, got alot more fast food and I didn't make him really clean up his room or make his bed.
But, inspite of it all he was an honors graduate from high school, made all-state choir 2 years running, never got a girl pregnant, did not do drugs or drink. He was never in a gang either!!!!!! He has turned out to be a decent, hard working young man.
Good luck and don't sweat the small stuff. Love them all the same while they are young and it will come back to you tenfold.

Life gets way more chaotic after the third. It's way harder keeping up on housework and laundry, but way worth it. I now have 6 kids and my house is almost always a mess and there's never ending laundry piles but they are our life. They bring us so much joy. You just learn to go with the flow. Good luck.

Congratulations! I loved having three kids, it makes them all closer. It's deffinitly a challenge but you just need to remember to ask for help when you need it. Also, I LOVED having a child older than the rest because they can be a big help, plus they'll grow up fast.
Good Luck!

I have heard it is easier to go from 2-3 than from 1-2. Your daughter will help you and love to mother this new little one.
Good luck!
