By far the best all around cook on food network is Alton Brown, have you noticed he took over emirals prime time spot recently, second would be Bobby Flay, I also like Tyler Florence's cooking style. The way over rated ones are Racheal Ray, Emeril Lagasse, And Paula Dean, Guys big bite is not gonna last long, Also that new hispanic lady is not gonna last I forget her name. Oh I forgot one, Micheal Ciarello is also really good. Ina Garten reminds me of a rich pampered brat.

Obviously some of the best chefs on Food Network don't necessarily have the best show. I'd say the best show is Rachel Ray, because she uses ingredients and brands that are affordable and available to the viewers. The best chef however is probably Emeril or Bobby Flay. Giada DeLaurentiis is just a set of breasts hanging over a plate of pasta.

I would LOVE to sit down with Paula Deen, George Duran, and Alton Brown - they're SO funny! However, Paula's cooking is a heart attack on a plate and George and Alton use too many things from the hardware store for my liking, so I'd have to have either Tyler Florence, Ina Garten, The Hearty Boys, Dave Lieberman, or Bobby Flay cook for us - because they usually make "real food". =)

Hello:

I have always loved Paula Deen because she is the kind of grandmother that I always wished I would have had when I was growing up! Paula's meals aren't for the faint of heart because of all of the butter that she uses in her dishes, but that is what makes her so likeable and fun to watch.

Paula's laugh is contagious and she is just one of those people who are still down to earth even though she is probably a millionaire by now. I have always loved her personality and her comfort foods are those that we grew up with when we were kids, especially in Michigan believe it or not!

Paula is just one of those people who even though she is a millionaire would welcome you into her home and treat you like a friend that she has known for so many years. Not to mention that she would probably feed you a WONDERFUL comfort food meal with all of the trimmings and she would have you laughing all the way through your meal because she is just so sweet and loveable! ;-)
