My hair grows super fast! It went from short (wouldn't even tuck behind my ears) to long (past my waist) in less than 2 years.
Multi-vitamins, lots of soy, scalp massages during shampoo/conditioner time, and frequent trims to keep the ends healthy and split-end-free! The trims go with a similar concept to pruning flowers or cutting grass. Trimming encourages new growth.
I am going to start chopping my hair off and giving it to Locks of Love then growing it back out again... so I can continue to donate to such a great cause. :) I'll be using my own advice while it grows back out!

Theres a horse shampoo I know its kind of gross but I always use this when I get a haircut too short I dont like lol Its called Mane and Tail and its usually in the dog wash section at walmart but it smells really good and you will see results in like 3 days guaranteed! Every time I used it in a month I would have hair go from the tip barely touching my shoulders to be able to swoop it all on one side...give it a try! Its a big white bottle and the colors on it is a yellow and blue horse...

How to Get Your Hair to Be Long and Healthy
Do you want nice long hair? Here's how to get it. Follow these simple steps and your hair will be long and healthy in no time.
Steps
1. Take vitamins! Multivitamins are good! (But only if you can't eat a healthy, varied diet - if you can, this makes the need for vitamin pills obsolete.)
2. Eat healthily and drink lots of water. Make sure your diet includes plenty of protein and essential fatty acids, as these really help your hair stay in excellent condition. You can find these in nuts, seeds and oily fish.
3. When you shower, use shampoo and massage your scalp.
4. When you use conditioner, make sure it stays in for a good 2-3 minutes.
5. Go get your hair trimmed every couple months. This will not make it grow faster, but will ensure that the hair ends stay healthy and prevents split-ends.
6. Brush your hair gently. Don't pull! Work any knots out with your fingers. Also, pick your hair brush wisely. Pick one where the end of the bristles do not look or feel scratchy.
7. Treat your hair to hot oil treatments or masks weekly- if on a tight budget, simply heat a bit of olive oil on the stove (never in a microwave) and massage into hair and scalp. Leave on for at least 10 minutes, then rinse, shampoo, and condition hair.
Tips
* Try not to wash your hair every single day; it's bad for you because your hair has natural oils that you shouldn't get rid of. Wash every third day, or second day if you need to (depending on your hair type). Remember, less is best!
* If you have really dry hair, try conditioning before you shampoo as well as afterwards.
Warnings
* Fat free diets or diets containing nearly all fruit and vegetables are not the way to go if you want healthy, shiny hair. They sound healthy and do have their benefits but your hair needs proteins and EFAs in order to look good.
* Do not use too much shampoo- it will dry your hair out.
* If you have fine hair, using too much conditioner or too rich a conditioner will cause it to lose volume. Pick a conditioner for your hair type for the best results.
Good luck!!

methylsulfonylmehtane -(MSM for short) is a good supplement for hair growth. It is already found in the body naturally but we don't intake as much of it, because most of us don't eat enough fruit and vegetables.
MSM is good for the bones and it makes your nails and your hair grow faster. You have to take quite a bit of it to see the results. I saw the Valerie Saxion show last week. She had a whole program dedicated to MSM. On the show she said to take 8000 mg of msm a day (spread out throughout the day) if you have problems with the your back or with your knees, but I notice she only said to take 4000mg a day on the website.
Anyway, I put the link below for you to read more about MSM and its benefits.
I hope this helps...
p.s. I am not affiliated with the website mentioned below nor do I receive any incentives...just thought you might want to know... good-luck ... :- )

Get a trim. It helps hair to grow faster. There's no shampoo can make your hair grow. Brush it every day. Massage your scalp with your fingertips. Take the vitamins "Healthy Hair and Nails" or Knox gelatin.

You know alot of women really push those prenatal vitamins, but I dont think its too safe for women who aren't pregnant to be taking. You know. If that's what your talking about, I seriously think that isn't going to help us women who aren't pregnant, just make us constipated alot!! However, my Great Grandmother had hair down to her ankles, kid you not!! And my mother used to go too her house just to braid my G.Grandmother's hair, because she loved doing it! And well she never used rubber-bands on her hair, at all. She'd have my Mom put the hair from her brush and twist it until it was wrapable, and then take and wrap the end of her braid with this same bit of hair that she had twisted. Then, she & alot of the women in our family believe that when we sleep that with all of the trashing we do, it tears at our hair, so we put it up in a bun on the crown of our heads at nighttimes, before bed. I get my bun a bit, wet so that it will have a nice wavy curly look in the am.s when I'm up and ready for my day. We also trim the ends just a tad, to cut off all of the dead-ends, and you will see yours grow in no time FLAT, before you know it hun!! Trust me on this one!! So, trimming, just the very ends, and keeping it braided during the day or at nightimes, and up in a bun, on the crown of your head every night. I twist my hair the way I part it towards the part, so that it doesn't go against the part in the mornings, then I'll put it up in a scrungy wrap it around nice and tight. So it doesn't come out during the evenings when I'm asleep, and wet down the top of my hair a bit, so that my hair still has the same look I like on the top front, and sides, or I'll pull it forward so it does after I put my hair in the bun. And my hair hasn't been this long since I was 18 years old!! Kid you not!! I have always cut my hair in the summer times, every year it seems like since I was 18. But, last winter my daughter & I made a "pack" that we'd let our hair grow down to the middle of our backs and not cut it over summer for nothing, no "If's and or But's" about it!! And her's is getting so long, and so is mine!! I just can't wait until winter time so we can both wear it down again without getting hot!! Being that we live in the desert, we have to wear ours up all the time. But, I'm sure your not in this situation as we are!! Good Luck to you hun!! Smile!!! I'm sure before you know it, your hair will be all long right where you want it!!!

there is this hair grease, yes grease, that is called tripple grow. it is in a white jar with a green label and cap. massage a small amout all over your scalp, and then blow your hair out. you should feel a tingly sinsation all over our head. the tea tree oil really stimulates the hair fibers to make them grow. then what you do is stand out in the sun for about an hour to help it grow even more. this REALLY works. it is also good for if you want youre eyebrows grow back faster
