And you heard this were? No, unlikely. The road to atheism is usually one way... It goes with advanced education, reading, reasoning, and the like. The best christians and believers are in jails, usually hs drop outs, the poor, and those from huge families... The best atheists are Ph.D., professors, and the educated. Not too likely this latter bunch would ever again believe in a sky daddy, if even they ever did.
And Angledove really missed history. Darwin thought of going into the ministry.... it was a good way to get an education in the early 1800's. But he never did, preferring to do naturalism instead... and he never returned to a spiritual idea of a personal god, if he ever had one... In fact, in his writing, when most of the pieces of evolution came together, he confessed that he felt as if he had committed a murder. He became a true non-supernaturalist with the death of his daughter Annie in 1851.... Read about it in any good source for Charles Darwin...

A small number may but I would say that the majority don't return to christianity. Remember, most atheists think Jesus of Nazareth is nothing but a human being who has been dead almost 2000 years or never was on the earth at all.

Atheists do not stand still, and neither does Jesus. Sometimes they meet again on the road of enlightenment and a new Buddha is born.

Only those that were not really atheists from the beginning, they were just CONFUSED. A true atheist won't go back to a LIE.

Not all Atheists were with Jesus to begin with. This question shows the typical Christian attitude.

No it isn't. Most never believed to begin with, and are called unbelievers in the bible. All are not going to be saved. And there is no coming back to Jesus, if you were never saved to begin with. You either become saved, or you stay as an unbeliever. But don't just focus on atheists, there are hypocrites, thieves, murderers, rapists, racists, etc. who deserve your attention as well. Just be salt and light to a dying world. And if your walk is righteous you will be doing greater works than Jesus, and maybe make some believe.

No Agnes, you got it the wrong way round. It is the religious people who come back to atheism after they die and find out they were conned. No paradise with God for company and not even 72 virgins for the Muslims.

There are a few former atheists here in R&S, but not enough to qualify for "usually." Such "reconversions" are certainly the exception, not the rule.
