They have a really big, nice cage. They have each other. I would leave several lab blocks and fresh water on Friday evening. Would they be okay until early Monday morning? I know they would miss me, but they'd get lots of love when I got back.

You bet. It never hurt to leave a few lab blocks more than you'd expect them to eat, just so you're sure they have enough. But rats can do well enough for a few days without you. Make sure the house is a good temp too... leave on the AC.

many times, that's extra advantageous to get a pair of woman rats, and not 2 adult males, yet they could be ok. keep in mind, on occasion adult males will combat with one yet another. that's not a sturdy thought to get yet another rat, as he could be omitted as the two play jointly. keep in mind the previous asserting? "3's a crowd." Rats get approximately 20-25 cm, aside from the tail. The minimum quantity for a cage is 24X24X24 inches.

Yes, they should be fine! Also, having a friend stop by your house once while you are away, would be great! She could let your rats out, and, check to make sure that they, and your house is ok! It's just a thought! I hope that you have a fun trip, and, I know that your rats will be glad that you are home, on Monday! Thanks, and good luck,

they'll be ok if its only the weeked. just make sure to leave enough food and water.
and also that they can't get out of the cage.
if you're afraid they might get lonely leave the radio on so its like they're not alone.

You might want to give them a 2nd water bottle in case 1 of them leaks, especially if it's hot where you live.

No, I don't think that they'll be okay. You should have a responsible family member, friend, or neighbor come over and supply food for them.

What if there's an emergency, like a flood or fire? Please have someone on call so that if something does happen, they can check it out.
