No...just means that the Bible has archaeological truths in it...I can write a book loaded with archaeological truths in it but still make it fiction....the Iliad's Troy is now fact, so does that make Achilles real, or Zeus?

I think it helps. You know for a thousand and more years ,people thought many of the places and people of the Bible were mythical because there was no evidence. In the 19th century, cities and civilizations began to be uncovered that shook the world. It was then that Satan sent(just joking sort of) Charles Darwin to try to undo what was uncovered.But..alas too late men like Schleimen found Ninevah ,Assyrian civilizations and even Troy (called Troas ) in the Bible.Since then evidence of the House of David,Solomon's stables ,Pontius Pilate,Caiaphas(the guy who judged Jesus) etc, have proved that at least, these people existed.

WHAT archaeological truths?
Who is crazier, people who believe in the bible based on blind faith, or those who use wildly inaccurate history and ill-logic to try to justify their belief ?

No, sometimes they can support faith though, those with the most faith are most likely to be comforted by archaeological truths.

Again, you fail to define the word "true." And the Bible is an anthology. It contains history, poetry, law, philosophy, allegory, fiction, apocalypse, and more. It is extremely naive to treat hundreds of documents as a single entity and ask, "is it true"? You might as well ask if the local library is true.

No.
The Dear Sea scrolls, so what. How about the Nag Hammadi discoveries?
If they trust archeology to prove the bible why do they deny archeology to prove evolution?

It doesn't make it true, it makes it a more reliable geographic account of a historic region, but proves nothing else about its content.

No. Harry Potter mentions London, cars, television, etc, does that make everything in Harry Potter true?
