If he's a Beagle then he must be mixed with something big! A beagle should top out at around 25 lbs. At his current growth rate, he'll probably grow to somewhere between 60-75lbs. Perhaps he's not a Beagle, but rather a different type of hound? A Foxhound or Coonhound may look similar to a Beagle in coloring, but would be bigger. In any case, prepare for a big boy! Good luck!

It depends on what he is mixed with. That is awful BIG for a beagle, but it depends on the other parent. Most beagles don't get any bigger than 30 lbs. Every dog is different when it comes to appropriate weight because of height and energy levels, so it's best to ask your vet, but the general consensus to telling if your puppy is fat or underweight is this. You are supposed to LIGHTLY be able to see the last two or three ribs when you look at it from the side, if you can't see them, then you are supposed to be able to feel them with a light touch to the side. It sounds skinny, I know, but it's healthy for dogs. It's going to be a little difficult to even use this test with a puppy since they are growing constantly and they will look too skinny or too fat from one day to the next, but you can get a general idea from that.
With her being 25 lbs. now, if she is at a healthy wieght, then she will probably be between 40 and 60 lbs. depending on how quickly she gains weight. My puppy gains about two pounds every three to four weeks. So that should give you a general estimate. Good luck with your puppy. They are a real joy. Especially Beagle mixes...lol...I'm the proud mother of a Puggle (Beagle/Pug mix).

He'll probably grow to be pretty big. I have a 3 month old basset/lab/shepherd mix, and he is only 18 lbs, and a basset is about the same size as a beagle, so your pup is probably mixed with something fairly big! I read that you can take a pup's weight at 3 months and times it by 2 1/2 for a general idea of how big they'll grow to be, so in your case that would be about 62lbs.

That is large for a beagle adult. Though I have seen a few 'full-sized' beagles that are a bit bigger than the little ones normally seen in hunting packs. Get him some exercise, and cut back on the food a little. Hopefully, growing will take care of the rest.

25 lbs is fine, if he is not too fat. But that implies that he might weigh about 50 lbs when he is full grown. If that sounds too large, then you may be feeding him more than the dog food directions suggest.
