You have been told to fight in a war on terror - this is a LIFE &
DEATH MATTER! Don't you owe it to yourself, to check that
what you are being told is really 100% correct, 100% true,
100% accurate and consistent with the real FACTS? (and not

FACTS:

Melting point of steel = 1532 C
(molten steel was filmed dripping out of the South Tower)

Jet fuel fire temperature in still air = 233-250 C
(use a pyrometer for proof)

Do you really think that over 80,000 tonnes of steel, can instantly weaken and become as WEAK AS AIR in around 10 seconds, as each of the Twin Towers fell? Accelerating into themselves, through the path of highest resistance, as though the lower, undamaged materials were as weak as air, providing NO STRENGTH?

How could those towers stay standing strong for 56 minutes (South Tower) and about 102 minutes (North Tower) after each getting hit by a jet plane?

How could the burnt up jet fuel (which was mostly consumed in the initial explosive fireballs) heat up steel beyond its melting point (over 1532 C), to cause a molten metal waterfall, and huge pools of molten metal which kept Ground Zero red hot (at temperatures over 600 C) up to 6 weeks after 9/11 ?

How can jet fuel from each plane, which burns at about 250 C in still air (not high speed air) heat up the rubble to over 600 C and keep it this hot for over 6 weeks? Do you know any plane that can
fly for this long?

By the way, I am an engineering professor with a PhD who lectures in materials and product design for a living at University level.

Check my facts... do it for yourself if you

Try to melt steel with just an open air
fire (even a jet fuel or kerosene fire),
where still air is the only source of O2
(oxygen).

Measure the flame temperature with an
accurate thermocouple sensor or a
foundry pyrometer instrument... The
temperature in an air fire does not
exceed 250 C.

Even the temperature of fire from paper
burning in air, is Fahrenheit 451, where
451 F = 233 C. Not even hot enough to
start weakening steel (which only begins
to lose a little strength at 300 C). At
about 650 C, steel is at about half of its
top strength, and those buildings had an
overdesign strength redundancy of 6x
or 600% safety factor. The could handle
6x more weight than the maximum load
capacity.

The Twin Towers stood strong & stable
56-102 minutes after being hit!

Now think about this...

Why is it that controlled demolition
experts NEVER USE KEROSENE OR
JET FUEL AIR FIRES to completely
demolish highrise buildings?

Why?

BECAUSE IT JUST DOESN'T WORK!

Thanks for the spam. I didn't read all your junk. But here are two facts for you too.

Fact metal doesn't have to be at the melting point to fail.

Fact there is no "still air" at the middle of a skyscraper ,there is lots of wind.

ok well not that I think you'll listen but here goes an explanation for how jet fuel can burn hot enough to melt steel

if you have ever seen a forest fire - ok wood burns at somewhat lower temp than jet fuel but when a forest fire gets big it super heats - it gets very very hot - and the heat is rising so much so that it sucks in enough air to create a mini-weather system that can be tracked from space -

so applying the same theory to wtc - jet plane crashed into building jet fuel gets spewed everywhere and ignites everything (not just the jet fuel) the fire heats up the the point that the steel starts to fail - and soon it heats up enough that the steel melts - even though i am not an expert - i am smart (probably more than the originator of the question) and this makes sense to me

you doubt the experts that answer your posts but you don't post your credentials or the credentials of the individual(s) that have convinced you of this theory

perhaps you could give me an explanation as to why someone would fake this - hell i can think of about one million other ways to start a war without killing thousands of innocent civilians - hell blow up an embassy - that'll get you a war with the US - I just can't see the motivation here

This is really not the place for this type of question but in partial answer:
The support structure on the outside of the towers was tubular steel, the fire went in through the breaks in the tubular steel columns and created a chimney effect which supported very rapid combustion.
Steel looses its strength fairly quickly once it passes about 400 C. Ask any black smith or knife maker.
When the first section above the failure point dropped a about 3 meters it impacted with the force of dropping a bunch locomotives the same distance, adding a few more hundred tons for every floor that was added to the falling mass.
Hopefull this handles most of the physics of the incident for you.
