Since christianity has begun, there has been a mass exodus of killings from east to west - seen from the crusades to the slayings of the red indians to the aboriginal chaos to indian occupation to bosnia to AFRICA. There has been no continent on this planet which has not felt the impact of christianity. And yet i get christians coming to my home to preach to me that it is a peaceful religion. So i ask you now; what do you think? does the bloody history show you its peaceful or vicious?

I want you to think about something.

In the VERY long history of Christianity (almost 2000 years), there has been relatively little violence. I know it seems huge when you look at those events, but the rest of the history of Christianity is peaceful. Also, even during those times, there were Christians who spoke out against the violence.

If a person follows the teachings of Christ to the letter (which is what Christians are SUPPOSED to do, but they don't always), yes, it IS a peaceful religion.

Paganism has even a more bloody past. Some wars throughout history have been given a "Christian" label. Doesn't mean God ordained everything. If God ordained it as in many cases in the Old Testament, then it is justifiable. Just because someone labels a "war" as a Christian war, doesn't mean it is.

That just proves what Christians know, that we are all sinners and live in a fallen world. We can try to be good and avoid sin to varying degrees of success. Some are obviously more successful than others.
Now let's talk about the proud history of Atheists in leadership positions. Mao, Stalin and Pol Pot were atheists who came to power, outlawed religion and went on to murder tens of millions of their own people. Atheism certainly does have a bloody and deadly impact on the world. And you are worried about Christians. Study history and learn. Then comment.

u cant blame the religion for killings, the religion is not about killing and does not teach that is it acceptable, it is people who r greedy and do not care of those who die that are to blame. people are naturally violent and self-centered its not right to blame an entire religion on what these people did. And how can talk this trash about Chirstians when Christian people still to this day have been slaughtered only because of their beliefs.

Christianity does have a bloody history. People have misused Christianity and the Bible for many centuries. The difference between Christianity and Islam, is if you look at their Holy book and Holy prophets you will see that Christianity TEACHES peace, not violence; Islam teaches violence. Our prophet taught us to love our enemies. Islam's prophet taught to destroy the enemy. Don't say Mo's words are misunderstood. There is no way to misunderstand those words of Jesus I just referred to.

So why are you blaming Christianity for all this? People have been killing each other since the year dot, long before Christianity appeared.

Seems to me you know very little about Christianity and very little history.

Any ideology can be taken to a brutal length. What about science. Look at all the evils science has brought us. Chemical, biological and nuclear warfare. Is this a reason to boycott science? But science has gave us medicine, and religion has given us hope. Both can be used for evil purposes, that is certain, but that is all the reason to try to use it for good purposes, rather then to wipe it off the face of the earth.

it has always be tinged in blood. the whole basis of it is to control the masses. if christianity were right then their god would have stopped ALL other religions from existing, would not have allowed the jews to still be suffering, would have eradicated all disease etc..... All it does is force people into submission and increase the coffers of those in religion as a career. Same goes for RC's too....the masses stay poor but those in 'charge' live like kings....pppfftt....

On the whole I would say it is definitely a VICIOUS cult

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

That sounds like peace to me.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Doesn't look as though you have bothered to see what Christ says. No wonder you are miles off.
