okay so there's this boy, right. he's my dad's friend's son. He likes me. (well he likes the way i look) when i seen him,,he hasn't rele got a chance to talk to me. He said hi once.
But, anyway. I didn't know he liked me,,until yEstErdAy. he gave my dad hershey kisses to give to me. This suprised me,, becuz im just at the age when boys are starting to notice me. And a boy never thought about me,,to give me anything before. And i never thought a boy would be attracted to me. Now he wants to talk to me AND im am a-hella-nervous!!
does anyone have advice??

Well, Hon, expect to feel that way even when you're years older and haven't dated for years and you have to start all over again. Let him talk to you if you like what you see (I'm sure he doesn't bite, none of them do at first meeting) It's the only way you'll find out if you want to continue to see and talk to him....that's called getting to know someone. He's just as nervous as you, I'm sure, although we usually only feel we are.
And congrads...because those little gifts don't always come from guys like the movies show. So, you know he's thoughtful.
Just make sure your talk is near some adults until you really get to know him. An aggressive guy usually won't try anything then. So, don't sweat it..just be your nice, pretty self and enjoy.

Hey--slow down--millions of young people are starting to notice each other--you are as nervous and ackward as he is. Hershey kisses are just a little fun thing--all you need to do is ask for a number to call him and say THANKS--what a nice way to start talking. Agree to meet for coffee and talk some more--you see him and he can see you. Find out what he likes and he can find out what youlike--movies, music, food, school stuff, future plans, animals, beach, sports, cars, hey you two can talk forever and see if there is a spark. You both need to take it nice and easy--slow and cool--there are priorities--home and school first--then if you have mutual time to go out--have a lot of fun times and enjoy it. remember the guy should be respectful, courteous, polite, confident--educated----he should NOT date you for just looks or boobs or silly little boy stuff. And if he is NOT nice--tell him to forget it---right away. He might be a creep--never date a creep--not even once !!! And do not talk to him on the computer or the phone--that is a very impersonal way to communicate---not at all acceptable--tell him you have homework to do. Insist on face to face contact. later in life you will appreciate this advice. Always go for the best!!! Just go with the flow. He's probably nervous also because he had to give the kisses to ur dad for him to give to you...I've been in that situation before. it is a bit uncomfortable, but u'll get the hang of it. Just act normal and think of him as a friend. It's easier that way. Good luck!

Um, just cause he gives you a hershey kiss, doesnt mean he like likes you i think. Maybe he wants to talk. What i can tell you is that dont seemd desperate and let him come to you. Dont be nervous, just talk and you know hang out with him.

Just talk like you are friends with him. So you will get to know him a little better! And I mean talk like you are friends. Don't be nervous cause if you are things more than likely will go WRONGE! So yeah....

omg u and i r sooo alike i had the same problem
if u like him then don't wait make a move. when guys ask me out no matter how cute or hot they r i say no because i get so nervous if he is noticing u take a chance what could u loose?

Just be yourself...if he likes you then he likes you....if not, then there will be other boys....I promise you that lol. I am 29, but I still remember when boys went from ewww to oooh lol. It does feel good to be recognized...that will never change. Just make sure he really likes you for you instead of how you look. That will be an ongoing problem. Good Luck!

you have nothing to be nervous about - he likes you enough to approach your dad, that is really difficult for any guy. talk about the things you like, music - movies - people at school - and what you do for fun. you are bound to both have something in common.

Don't be so nervous, you're just talking, not doing something else. You'll be fine even if you do something stupid, because he is nervous too. Everybody is. It's first but not last time, that is for sure.
