It will hurt if you pull it off and it will bleed a lot too. I had several moles removed from my neck, they were small ones but there was a lot of them. It costs about $200 including the office visit to the Dr. It was a dermatologist.

When a mole is in a position where it is constantly irritated, doctors usually like to remove it. There is concern that the irritation may increase the chance of developing cancer.

I don't know how much it will cost, but if you have insurance it may be covered. Do not take it off yourself!

Is it a mole or a skin tag? A skin tag is usually just a small "tag" of skin that looks clear or flesh colored. These are harmless and can be removed by your doctor with liquid nitrogen and not expensive at all. If it is brown or black with irregular margins, you HAVE to see your doctor now.

Depends. It might be a melanoma- which is deadly. Or not- which is much more likely. But if it is getting irritated a lot- get it off soon. A local family doc took one off a friend for about 300 dollars, and the testing cost more- but it's your health we're talking about here- "If you have our health, you have everything"

Good luck!
