Eek.
I will not lie to you.
I had my appendix removed, tonsils, wisdom teeth, and I also had two ingrown toe nails.
Out of all of the surgeries I've had -- that was the WORST.
First -- they will spray this alcohol freeze stuff on your toe. Then the worst part of it all. The needle that numbs it. It is the most painful needle you will ever have. They inject the needle on the thin layer of skin behind your toenail. I am 20 years old and I cried like a little baby. =( I will keep you in my prayers.
I don't know how you are with needles .. but if you don't do too hot you might want someone to be there with you in the room. The actual removing of the toenail doesn't hurt too bad after it's numb.
Depending on whether or not you're getting one side done or both .. your toenail might fall off. When I had my first toe done that's exactly what happened.
After the surgery you will have to soak your toe in epsomsalts. This will help keep your toe clear of infection. It's also very soothing.
My ingrown toenails happened from trimming too close to where my toenail grew. So in the future be careful when you clip your toenails. The toenail will grow into your toe hence the term ingrown toenail.
So my advice to you after wards is to keep your toe bandaged up and very clean.
Hope this helps.

What kind of surgery might you need?
I had an ingrown toenail surgically removed last year. They shot my toe up with novecaine then cut out the ingrown part of the nail.
After that I had the side of the nail that keeps getting ingrown cut off and chemically treated to not grow back. Again they shot me with the novecaine and cut it off and then dabbed it with the chemical.
Neither one was so bad while it was happening, but that night I did have some throbbing pain.

I took my 15 year old grandson for this, the doc gave him a shot in the toe and he never flinched. It took about fifteen minutes tops for the entire thing. By he way, he was awake for it. They don't put you to sleep.

properly it merely is going to educate how the media has made women individuals (and adult adult males) elect to be 'ideal'... And why the hell is your Mum telling you stuff like that? it somewhat is easy mean of her to assert issues like that to you. Dont get surgical operation, you have a effective face. the 1st photograph replaced right into a effective p.c.. the 2nd replaced right into a nasty attitude, anyones nostril might look undesirable from that place. p.s. can we swap noses? Yours is nicer than mine.
