i'm no doctor but this sounds alot like what my aunt used to go through. if i'm right (please check with a doctor) it sounds like your having anxiety attacks. everyones reasons for having them are different but it is known that after high stress periods ( ex. being sick) they seem to become more and more frequent. if it keeps happening you could ask your doctor for a referral to a therapist. i hope you feel better soon : ).

I used to be sick before an exam and there is also such a thing as panic attack. Looks like it. Try taking some sedative medicine like Novo-Passit. By night youcan try Donormil, half or 1/4 will be enough I suppose. that happens mostly to women, when you're nervous or upset your body gives strange reactions like vomiting, headaches, fear with fast pulse and hard breathing usually. Scared without a reason and not able to sleep - really looks like problems with nerves. your illness could provoke it because you stayed home for some time, didn't talk to people much, not good for your nerves. Go to a psycologist if you can. Panic attacs can be really hard. I had some and felt like something is strangling me. Do you feel depressed or have something difficult and heavy on your mind? try to stop worrying and you need to take medicines that will calm you down.

Aww I know what you are going through. I suffer from panic disorder myself. The best thing to do until you get diagnosed is to breathe very deeply and slowly when you feel the wave of panic come over you. Try your best to think of something else besides the heart trouble you think you are having. And, by the way heart palpations and irregular heartbeat as well as rapid heartrate are all actually symptoms of panic attacks and stress. My heart beat gets irregular and I feel like its jumping sometimes. Paxil CR has helped me immensely with the panic attacks. Just be completely up front and honest with the doctor when you go. And don't worry...you are young, and chances are you just have panic/anxiety disorder. Good luck to you!

Dizziness causes nausea, and the causes of dizziness are too numerous to mention. You're obviously experiencing high levels of anxiety, but you could also be depressed (disruption in sleeping and eating patterns is indicative of depression). If it continues for more than 6 weeks you should seek professional help (or if the symptoms suddenly become worse).
