A corgi cairn terrier mix? I have a 3 month old puppy. She resembles a corgi much more than a cairn terrier. Has anyone ever had a dog with this type of mix?

Dogs can be mixed with other species, even Wolves, as long as they're in the canine family. It could be that the terrier's genes are recessive, therefore giving the dog a more corgi look. There is no way to tell the temperment of a hybrid because they will most likely share the characteristics of both breeds.

Well, it isn't a BREED, it's a mutt. If you cross these two breeds, the puppies are all going to look different. Not all will look like the Corgi. Many will look more like the Carin.
I am sure there someplace, somewhere, this mix has occured many times.
