I was very excited about this pool-party today. We are going to play volleyball, get in the pool. I really wanted to go.

I'm in good shape, I was totally 0K with being shirtless at the pool, and wear my trunks.
Yesterday I heard some meowing on the big backyard we have. I realized the meowing came from the shed we have way out back.
A cat had her kittens there. I thought that was cute, so I went in the shed. Next thing I know, I'm getting my legs eaten up.
I go out, and notice my legs are full of fleas, so I wash them off with a hose, and take off my clothes.

Todays is the party, I really want to go, but all those flea bites are really noticeable on my whitey legs.

What should I do?

Go anyway. It'll give you a reason to talk to girls, who will LOVE the kitten story.

Definitely go to the party. Don't mention anything about the flea bites. If anyone asks, tell them the truth, its a cute story. Also, if you are in the pool a lot, no one will be able to see your legs.

If you really, really hate the way you look: Get yourself a *spray-on* tan, all over. There are probably places in your town--or the next big one--that do it. Check the phone book or the 'Net.

Yes, it will probably be just as obvious as the bites would be. But you'll nevertheless LOOK better while telling your adorable kittens story!

Go and tell anyone who asks the truth. Don't worry about what anyone thinks. Girls are going to love the story, you will probably score some points. Plus, it is a very endearing story, so I think you are a good person, the flea bites prove it.

I think you should go.
But get in the pool right away. After a short while the bites should fade and wont be visible anymore.

Why are you so self-conscious? Nobody is going to care that you have bites on your legs. If someone looks at you weird, just tell them you were attacked by mosquitos. They will understand. We have all been there.

Go to the party!

Just go. In summer time, we all have mosquito bites, bruises and barked shins from sports and camping, etc. If anyone makes fun of you, how mature can they be? Would you care about the opinions of fools?

If the flea bites are the least of your worries, there's no reason not to go. Consider yourself lucky that your physical flaw is only temporary.

If you really want to have fun, why bother about your legs. If people ask about it, tell them the truth.

I'd just swim with your jeans on, just "fall in" and no one will think anything of it.
