The Paleo-Hebrews (of which Yashua bin Yoseph Har-Messiach was one), studying from the ancient Book of YHWH, did not practice a "belief" in hell...as promoted by the modern day, manufactured (or "beastly") christian church.
So, the quote was, as usual, taken out of context to get you to feel undeservedly guilty, and get your money, or into your panties.

In reply to all the answers. Lets compare the earth to the biblical description of hell. First, both have much suffering and pain. 2 If you believe in reincarnation then I guess we can say that you die over and over again,or as ace said over again. 3 gnashing of teeth, ever been to war? I could go on and on. The truth is, Jesus was misunderstood. He didn't come to sacrifice anything, he knew were he was going so what did he sacrifice? Second is, he came to save the world by teaching us that we are in hell and forgiveness is the only way out. The answer to the question is simple and yet Christians complicate it and use fear to control you. It was the Christians who had to make up the bible 1400 years later to use Jesus for an idol after they crucified him. Walk into any church and you'll see statues of Jesus which breaks there own commandments. Jesus didn't walk on water because the water was never there, wake up!

Well, yes , going to hell is a life in the worst agony you can imagine and more I suppose. Life with God is the most wonderful blessings and more. I would rather believe in God and go to heaven then be surprised by not believing in Him and ending up in Hell. What if there really is a Hell? Are you so sure there isn't one that you would go on and not have something to believe in and then die and then find out hey, there really is a God and there really is a Jesus Christ his son and there really is a Hell and you're going to burn forever down there in agony. I'd do the smarter thing and save myself an eternity of pain and despair and accept Him.

Not sure if anyone else will agree with this, but here goes:
After death, the spirit leaves the physical body and goes to another place to await a time when everyone will be "resurrected." Resurrection means the spirit will be reunited with the physical body. Everyone will receive this as a gift. Everyone who had a body to begin with. (That's another story.)
Eternal life is different. Eternal life means existence with all the blessings and privileges of being able to progress spiritually (to learn, to create, to procreate, etc.)
Those in "hell" will exist but not have those privileges of progressing. Their understanding and growth will be "dammed" (sic) like water being held back by a dam.
Atheists will have a chance to learn and progress at some point so they will not be "dammed."
Hell really isn't a fire and brimstone punishment more than it is a state of anguish because we will know what we are missing.
So, in response to your question, eternal life is different from external existence.
With that said, I admit that I do not know everything for certainty. I could be wrong about things. But according to my understanding at this point in time, this is what I believe.

I think eventually that hell will be eliminated and all attached to darkness will be cast into the lake of fire, hell included. To me this means that having been given a choice of eternal happiness and evolvement would be considered living and Hell and the abyss which will become consumed by the light of God , would be called death.
Which one do you want to take a chance on. If you don't buy into it, play the lottery instead. Just remember, you can't take the money with you. Your Spirit's demise is your own choosing and that is eternal. If you can accept it.

Anyone who claims to be a Christian should know that NO ONE knows where anybody is going after they die. No one knows how God will work in the hearts of people at the last minute of their lives.
Suffering in hell can hardly be considered "eternal life". I would call it "eternal suffering".
Those who burn in hell are those who spent their entire lives burning others.

its in the way it was translated. Also, there are some that believe atheist stop existing when they die, since Hell is eternal separation from God, but God is all seeing, so the only way for God not to see you would be to not exist, though that point is argued on since "fall out of God's sight"... God could have intentionally made a place he couldn't see.

You are quoting a piece of the gospel of John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever shall believe in him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life." In this passage everlasting life refers to life in Heaven with the Father. A soul which is doomed to Hell, is not a living soul, it is a tortured soul. So tortured it is not considered alive any longer. And also, you shouldn't say that all Christians believe ALL atheists go to hell. I don't think it's fair to say ALL of anybody believe the same thing.

Everyone is held accountable for their actions when they reach the age accountibility.
He says in Romans 1:18
'For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be know of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the CREATION of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE, becausee, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.'
Accept the Lord today, and inheret His promise of Eternal Life!
