For as often as you give it to him, you're not hurting anything. Granted, the sugar isn't good for his oral health or over-all health, but so what. It's a treat you give him 3 or 4 times a year.

It is not going to hurt the dog. Sugar rush maybe. But the red ones are NOT licorice. Licorice is a flavor and almost always black. And better than the red stuff. I do like both though. Saw Twizzlers being made on fooed networ, the company wouldn't say waht the favor was in the red ones.

I haven't had any problems with my dog eating a twizzler but on the hot summer days she likes a ice cream cone instead.

Sugar in general, is not good for dogs. But yeah they like it as much as we do. Its not really good for us either. LOL

my cat likes the rainbow ones..lol i think my cat thinks shes a dog thou..she drinks from the toilet and everything?? weird i know..i have to keep the cover down or else she is right there..
