NO, don't use Frontline. Frontline doesn't work.
Use another product like Advantage. That only needs to be used a few times a year and saves time and kills all of all the fleas in the home and the animals will love you for it.
People always want to save money and not buy the Advantage but honestly it is not THAT much more in the long run and well worth it. After all this is your darlink cat.

You can apply another dose, as Frontline needs to be applied more frequently to provide full cover against ticks, so it is safe to put on every 2 weeks. However, probably more important is to spray your house - and I mean with a spray from a vets, nothing from a store.

While Frontline Plus does help treat the environment by killing the flea eggs, if fleas were already present in the environment you're going to need to spray first to kill those. It's advisable to spray and then vacuum the next day, and repeat this process about a week later after the last of the eggs have hatched out. Most housesprays don't kill flea eggs, which is why you have to repeat the process, but there is a new product out called Skoosh that kills flea eggs and has no chemical action which is a bonus.

Lastly, do be careful to get all that Frontline on the skin of the animal, by parting the fur. Try to get as little as possible of the product on the fur.

Chalice

EDIT: Overdoses of Frontline do not cause seizures, this is incorrect. I don't think you'll find any reported cases of this. The product has no systemic action, it stays on the oils of the skin only. It says on the box, effective against ticks for up to two weeks.

EDIT 2: Frontline actually kills all fleas within 24 hours of application, and ticks with 48 hours. It might take up to a couple of weeks for signs of flea allergic dermatitis to be resolved, but it doesn't take this long to actually kill the fleas, that would be rubbish. I think the variation in answers on here is an indication it's probably best to just phone your vet and ask.

Frontline Plus kills fleas their eggs and ticks, it doesn't hawever repel them...you need to treat your house and outside wouldn't hurt either. Frontline retards the eggs so that they are unable to hatch so that means the the eggs are hatching either in your carpet of outside. You can Apply Frontline at 3 weeks if you think its needed. A safer alternative is a pill called capstar that you can get from you Vet and it will kill the live fleas for 24 hours so you can get a hold of the population while you treat your carpet and outside. Remember the fleas have to bite before they are killed. Hope this helps. ps...there is only one size of Frontline for cats. pss...if you apply too much frontline, like every two weeks it can cause serious problems like seizures so please don't ever use 2 frontline products at the same time, like the spray and the tube, or apply every 2 weeks.

Frontline is now sold by some Chemists - they take personal details about you and animals. Try the other remedies, but also a water trap. 1 cereal bowl filled with water plus a couple of drops of washing-up liquid (to break the surface tension) 1 small table lamb, preferable with a wide'ish brim shade. At night when you go to bed, leave switched on, somewhere like your landing or carpeted area in your bedroom. In the morning - count the drowned fleas! We had an infestation summer 2007 and it took us about a month to get rid of them. Suction cleaner 2 or 3 times a day (1 could see them jumping around in the transparent cylinder), Frontline and space spray around the carpeted areas especially. My indoor cats now wear flea collars, changed every 3 months, just in case we bring fleas or eggs in again on our clothes.

No way. It is a powerful product and it takes a couple of weeks for the flea cycle to die out, so hang in there. These products work by basically sterilizing fleas and breaking the reproductive cycle. Very soon, all the fleas will be gone and if you stay on a once-monthly application cycle you'll never see another one. Do be sure you've properly applied the product in the right place and emptied the whole capsule. Also, make sure you have the right amount of product for your cat's weight.

Well, when my cat had fleas, I put Frontline Plus on her because she was allergic to them and had scabs all over her body. It took a couple of weeks to start working, but soon her scabs went away. I think you should wait about one more week, then if it still doesn't work, ask your vet if you should give her another dose.

Yes, and make sure you get it down to the skin, just below her skull, like mid neck. I alternate frontline with advantage. Another reason she still might have fleas is because you had a lot of fleas in your house, and to kill them with frontline, they will have to jump on the cat. Good luck.

No, but next month try Advantage. Also, make certain you are getting it directly on the skin and not the fur. I made that mistake one month. For now, bathe her the blue Dawn dishwashing detergent to get rid of the fleas.

Hello
It should say on the packaging - either ask the vet - or wait another week - obviously the new eggs have hatched so you need to break the cycle.
