Most words in the Latin country's and European areas are some what intervined and have similar spellings. You can almost certain determine what the word means.

I am German speaking Spanish, English and German.

So electronico is close to Electronic.
And Correo means Mail

so together it means Electronic Mail

Correo = mail

You can most likely understand Electrónico.

Spanish people say Emilio too, but this is not really a word, its a name (Emile). I guess that its because its similar to the English word e-mail

Ilusion

That's the Spanish equivalent of e-mail.
I've also seen it called e-correo.
