Dips or tricep push ups?

both are very effective but i think that the tricep pushups are better since dips are even bigger on lats

i agree with conductorbrat. just do a variety of tricep exercises like tricep push down, kickbacks, and any other effective tricep exercises because your muscles do get used to an exercise after a while.

dips hands down. once you can pump out several good sets of 10 it's time to add some weight. to increase strength you have to use progressively higher and higher training loads. push ups are equivalent to about 60% of the total bodyweight if the person is symmetrical. once the body adapts to that load there will be no further increases in strength.

do both. tricep pushdowns are the best you can do for triceps. you need different exercises to work the different parts of the triceps.

Both. You need a variety of exercises or the muscles will plateau as a result of doing the same motion over and over.
