why are we asking stupid questions about God. He doesn't deserve this when He has done so much for us. why must we ask. does it really matter? we should be focusing on what God has done and how can we serve him more and how to repent but not what he is made up of or how big his belly button is!!!

you are right. the little kids ask such questions, and thats cool, but when the adults ask silly questions to mock our God ,does it not anger you?

Wow. It's great to see another Christian in the midst of the world we live in. Although, some people probobly don't know as much as you do about God, so they must ask. God loves it when we question him, and he loves to softly answer us.
He longs for his children, and if that means us questioning him, that's okay.
Just remember it's not thinking about what he did for us. That is in the past. We need to PRASIE him for what he did for us, and for being a loving, good, kind, patient, slow-to-anger father.
God bless you, I will see you in the kingdom of heaven, brother.

Be careful of your use of the word "stupid". Some of these questions are very important to people's conceptual impression of God. Belittling a non-believer's feelings isn't a very good testimony. As a Christian, I try to respect an honest question about God and do what I can to answer it. If people can't get past that point, what makes you think they will even acknowledge the things God has done?

The reason we are here on earth is to learn to love God and show others how to love him just the same.

The thing is that we are not capable of loving something we do not know.

So in turn we are asking questions (and have been created to do so) because we want to know who God is and by doing this we are able to love Him more.

We do not look for people to just serve us. We look for people to become friends with...how in the world do you become a friend and then ask that person to serve you constantly and never get to know them.

God is not looking for perfect slaves!!! He is looking for imperfect Friends.

I agree mostly. God doesn't deserve to have bad things said against Him. Especially when, like you said, what I believe and what the Bible says, He has done so much for us. But I more talk about directly/intentionally speaking against God more so than asking "stupid questions" about Him.

Parents can understand this more than most, I think. Like if a parent takes care of their children-gives them rides, gives them food, gives them money to get a nice treat or go to the movies or something, helps them when they come home in tears or after having a bad day, takes care of them when they're sick, disciplines (and I don't mean abuse) them to teach them right from wrong, teaches them different things, that kind of thing. Only to have their children be ungrateful, take what their parents do for them for granted, speak ill about their parents to their friends, yell at their parents, and so forth.

Well, God experiences that kind of thing by giving people (righteous and wicked) everything they need, taking care of them and loving them so well (including those who deny His existence), only to have people rebel against Him, speak evil of Him, and everything else. Parents don't deserve the kinds of things their children do or say against them and God especially doesn't deserve it, as He is greater than all of us and perfection.

But of course, there are some things that are hard for people to understand at certain times. If they ask a question because they want to understand God better, that's great. But if they ask stupid questions, well I don't believe that should be done either, and definitely not rebelling against His holy commands/teachings (which are for our own good anyway) and speaking evil against Him Who alone is perfect.

While the questions people ask may be silly or bothersome to some people, I think it is simply a way of saying, "please convince me".

They see believers and they don't understand how we can believe in something we can't see.

When I ask people how they know they will wake up tomorrow they say, "don't be silly, of course I'll wake up". I ask them how they know. They say, "because I always wake up".

Well that is the same way that I Believe. Because I have always believed. There is no explanation. It is a Leap of Faith. You either believe or you don't. You don't sorta believe. There's no room for grey area.

Some even mocked Christ himself. Be happy for persecution from unbelievers for His names sake. The Kingdom of Heaven will be your permanent home.

Fine. Stop talking about God. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I think God has a sense of humor and he forgives. I also think God appreciates our wanting to learn, and wants each of us to find our own way in life.

Look inside you self to see what the real problem is. Why you find it necessary to believe in a none
extincting force.
