Benny Hinn is clearly a sideshow performer who uses religion to con people out of their money.

Absolutely not, but he is doing a great job of reinvigorating the Nehru jacket.

Wind is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. After all the word spirit ruach in Hebrew also means wind. There is a reference to Jesus doing it with his disciples in at least one place in the gospels, can't remember where, possibly when he was sending out the 12 or 70 to do ministry.

I don't think Hinn is the only one using it.

Remember what seems silly to the natural mind, God can use.

As for pushing .. one would need to be there to know. one does hear stories of some people doing that, as they want to look good.

Did you know supernatural gifts can be imparted by the physical act of layng on of hands. It looks stupid, but God has used it. There are references to it in one of the letters to Timothy and Romans, and perhaps elsewhere in the New Testament. Many denominations don't practice it, but that doesn't cancel its effect.

My friend was Benny Hinn's daughter. I have seen crazyier things than that, and have heard some too. There is this guy at my Evangelical Christian church who once went to a hospital and threw a dead baby at the wall and it came back to life. My other friend also healed a man's tumor just by praying over it and it dissolved.

Benny Hinn is an abomination to the word of God. Unfortunately, millions have bought into what he falsely preaches and does. No man has that kind of power unless Christ is working through him, and in Benny Hinn's case, that's not Christ.

Why could somebody blow on them ? Or push them around ? i'm optimistic that somebody under the effect of the Holy Spirit would desire to by no capacity push somebody around the degree by merely blowing on them. you ought to have neglected slightly the story and besides what's it to you..for all all of us understand, you too would desire to be conning human beings.. God tells us to by no capacity believe a liar for their words are fake.....

Don't forget about that Peter Popoff guy...he has an infomercial out now and it's hilarious! This lady was walking on the to the podium all crippled and limping, then he pushed back on the forehead pretty roughly, then she started dancing around! It made me laugh so hard! I think that guy actually went to jail or something like...I remember reading about it.

Some people will believe anything. Seriously most of them believe he has the gift of healing. Here,s another thing Ido believe some are healed, but you have to remember Christ told those he healed for the most part it was due to their faith and God's glory. T4

Never underestimate the gullibility of a true believer.
Benny Hinn has never healed anybody and some who claimed to be healed died of the disease they were suffering from when they went to his faith healer side show act.

He sure does cure them of their excess money problems though.

anyone who believes this load of malarky is an idiot. you cant heal someone just by touching them. aslong as there are people willing to believe then people like benny hinn will still have a job.

I would compare Benny Hinn to the moneychangers in the Lord's Temple. He takes advantage of people's pain and uses their faith in order to line his own pockets. He is an opportunist with delusions of grandeur.

ALL these people are looking for a cure to whatever bothers them...and their adrenaline is very high at this point...SO it seems that they have been cured...when in reality, they haven't...people want to get better and fix what is wrong with them...but Mr. Hinn sure isn't that way...
