i have a 3 month old poodle. This little guy is smart and health but this is one problem with him makes me really stressful. Every morning when i leave the house i put a brand new pads on the floor for him to pee on, by the time (6pm) i got home, this little guy has teared the pads to small pieces and it looks like he has alot fun with it. this is happened everyday. then i started put type around pads but this is no hope. So is there anyone know how to stop him to tear up the pads. thank you all in advance.

My puppies used to do that, but they stopped once I taped it down with some serious heavy duty tape.

The puppy is not upset that you are teaching him to go inside.

The puppy is just bored and the pad is the only thing he wants to tear up. I would also recommend getting a bone for him to play with... a big one, because the little ones can get too small and choke the dog while you are working.

Crate train the dog, and use some citrus air spray on the area. Dogs don't like the smell of lemons, oranges, or any cirtus fruit. Give him toys to play with, and reinforce him from playing with things that arent' toys by pulling them away from forbidden zones.

Yeah, crate train him and hire someone to come in part way thru the day to take him outside for a pee and a poop.. You are going against instinct by trying to teach him to pee in the house.. Dogs don't want to dirty the den.. Yet you are telling him that he should... He is going crazy knowing that you are trying to teach him the wrong thing... Pee pee and poo poo go OUTSIDE ONLY !
