Can someone help me out in getting a 1080p TV. Also more importantly when I put in the headphones, I would want the external speaker to work too, so that people around me can hear what I am hearing too. Any help would be appreciated.

if it has a headphone output it is going to cut off the speakers when u plug it in.
U may be able to take it apart and mod it but I don't know your skills.
Best to get a wireless headphone and connect the input to a monitor out jack. Then u won't cut off the speakers.

I would just forget the headphones if you are all watching the same thing.

Sennheiser! they are impressive! I in basic terms offered a pair presently & they are fantastically good. despite you do do no longer purchase Skullcandy! they are fantastically low fee high quality earbuds. and that i've got heard Koss is a fantastically good variety besides.
