Because every time I have loved deeply, or have hurt deeply, I don't feel that emotion coming from my heart, I feel it coming from the center of my body, where my soul is. That is how I know for a fact that I have a soul, and I don't think it exists in people in any other way. I have a clear minds eye view of where it is and I think that God put it there. Have any of you have ever felt like you were so sad that part of you dies, or the feeling you get when you long for someone that you have lost, or the feeling you get when you have held your newborn in your arms for the first time? You would know exactly what I'm talking about if you have, and there would be no question in your mind of where those feelings come from. I know where my heart is and it is not in the center of my body. How would you explain that if you didn't believe that you had a soul?

Bula'ia tratyme, If you actually read what I posted you would see my question. It is the last sentence of my paragraph my dear.

Also, why would I listen to a person on a subject like this who names themselves 'Fourmorebeers'? *shakes head*

Sorry I did not spell your name correctly earlier, Bula'ia Aratyme.

Obviously most of you are too moronic to see a QUESTION MARK in my so called "statement". If you dont even know what a question is when you see one...why should I take your responses into consideration? Yes this was also a question. (hence the question mark...again) *shakes head*

We would probably explain a gut reaction in all the wrong ways. We experience what the mind only knows. Thank you for that question. You can be sure if goes to our hearts and around the world. Love lives on and grows with every feeling. The heart is a symbol for the spirit without which nothing is known.

I know that I have a soul! Most people do, but not everyone! God can be called many different things form love to god, and some times it just takes people more time to find god, them self, and what things are! Like it says in the song for every thing there is a season! So do not rush me!

I'd just like to inform you of something.

We do not have an invisible soul. We ARE a soul.
Our whole body and mind IS a soul.

Gen 2:7 7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul.

No part of us is immortal. If it were, then the Devil would have been telling the truth, and God would have been lying.

Gen 3:1-5
Now the serpent proved to be the most cautious of all the wild beasts of the field that Jehovah God had made. So it began to say to the woman: “Is it really so that God said YOU must not eat from every tree of the garden?” 2 At this the woman said to the serpent: “Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat. 3 But as for [eating] of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘YOU must not eat from it, no, YOU must not touch it that YOU do not die.’” 4 At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. 5 For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.”

Ok, click on the image link (it's from a human anatomy lesson, like an X-ray view of a human with the organs and brain visible in the drawing) below:

And please point out where the soul is located???

Foolish people for 1000 years had tried to locate it before modern medicine came into being by thinking people, not by religious lunatics.

If you cannot do so, then how can you feels such arrogant confidence in something you cannot prove? Are you only believing someone else's myth then?

Examine your life carefully because it's easy to be convinced by someone else's myths and ignore your own senses.

Emotions that are real and true are a natural manifestation. You choose to assign those emotions to a being that is outside of your world.

We spend a lot of time arguing the existence of a God.

The term God is usually relegated to the realm of superstitious fantasy. God is seldom used to describe the real or tangible. God is often equivalent to unnatural and not of this world. Faith is required because irrefutable evidence is illusive to non existent.

What if God meant truth?.... the undisputed truth which is the enemy of superstition.... which is the enemy of life.

What if we didn't have to look outside of the natural world for God?

Your emotions are of God precisely because they are naturally occurring in this universe.

Yes I understand you..well I believe in God because I went to a church where they only spoke the sermon in Spanish..yet I couldn't control myself and my friend's sister was shaking next to me and when I saw her I COULDN'T stop crying and smiling. It was not mob mentality as some Atheists put it. It was the holy spirit...because again, mob mentality is where you WANT to do what the crowd wants to do. I was not controlling myself.

So your soul is nothing more than intense feelings? Hate to burst your bubble but we are perfectly capable of experiencing intense feelings without any need for this soul. Intense emotions, like all emotions, are created in our minds. No magical, mythical part of our being needed.

i believe in God but let me tell you something God tells us in the Bible that the breath of life and dust put together is a living soul so look at yourself in a mirror that is what is a soul! its not a supernatural spirit that lives on after we die! now we do have the Spirit of God which is sometimes called the spirit in man but there is no spirit of man! but think about it if we had an immortal spirit then why would God have to give us eternal life if we already had it?? just something to think on the devil has decieved many dont let yourself be decieved!

Its all in your head, that feeling you say is your soul is really your brain just believing that you have a soul, so it creates a "soul". Everything can be explained without resorting to religion, all you have to do is think a little.
