She really scares me. I think she might have mutipul personalities, I have seen her outside punching herself in the face, yelling at nobody, breaking all her windows out of her house... the list goes on, but all of a sudden she seems to have something against me, as soon as I walk out my front door, she looks out and starts hitting walls, throwing glass around (from broken windows) and screaming "I hate you" or "throw rocks at me, and hit my cat in the face" and other crazy things. I have called the police out. They did nothing but tell her to stop. Is there anything I can do other than move. I have a baby in my house and every night I am afriad that she could go that much futher and set fire to my house or something else crazy that might cause harm to my family.

Any suggestons?

If you are in the US, call the county welfare/social services offices. It sounds like the woman needs to be in a mental hospital.
If she threatened you, it is grounds to force her into psychiatric care.
You can also try the Mayor of your town and the District Attorney if everyone refuses to do anything.

WOW!!!!!!!!!! That would scare the ever living sh** out of me too...!!!! Maybe you can get a restraining order, an alarm system and put a wall or fence up that will go higher up, so you have total privacy and she can't see in your backyard. I also would get those flood lights that come on if someone is there. You also might want to consider getting a dog. It doesn't matter what kind. A dog can alert you if anyone is trying to get in the house. I have a very sweet Pit Bull, and three English Bulldogs, and trust me when I say I always know
if someone is at my house, which is so nice... Our whole house is gated, so people don't dare come through that gate
without my o.k!! Not because my dogs are mean, but because people don't know if my dogs are mean, and also I don't want anybody in my yard uninvited. I know you might not be able to do all these things, but hopefully one or two of these things you can do and put you mind at ease.... Good Luck Sweetie!!!!

You can go to the police station and file a formal complaint for harassment, then the DA would have to get involved on if the complaint is legitimate. The only other option, which is kind of underhanded but the system is warped so you have to work around the **** in it, is to dial 911 and say that she is hurting herself when she's in the middle of one of her psychotic breaks. When the officers respond they should take her in for a 72 hour mandatory hold and that will generate a mental health ruling on to let her out or not. You'll have to willing to put in a statement what you've seen her doing, she obviously is schizophrenic.

Wow... your in scary situation. Mental illness is nothing to take lightly. I'd start by calling the police each and every time she becomes threatening in any way (paper trail) and n the mean time contact the county mental health authorities. Have their number on speed dial. Call enough times, and eventually they will come for her. Until then, be vigilant and be prepared to protect your family and pets in any way necessary.

Hi! I understand your situation and i feel for you.I would recommend you to try the police again and if still she doesn't stop try to call the asylum or if they still can't help you try the media or something like that that could put pressure on local authorities.

keep calling the police. If the police refuse to do anything about the situation, let the public in your area know the situation.

I say put that b*tch where she belongs. She is a danger to you, and your family. Do what you have to do to protect your family even it it means doing something bad.

Sometimes we have to do bad things for good reasons.

she has to be a danger to others or herself for you to get any action even then when i went though this the cops did not want to get involved i had to make it sound worse then it really was to get them to do something
