BEA and/or BOAC used to operate an aircraft known as an Airspeed Ambassador Are any still airworthy and operating?

None of them are neither airworthy or operating. Few were made, and one is in a museum in UK. Very beautiful, reliable and elegant aircraft, i've only seen it once but it was cool

Unfortunately not, although there is one intact - I believe it is at Duxford, UK.

I used to fly in these aircraft from Newcastle to Belfast in my childhood - very comfortable indeed.

It's very unlikely, as only about 20 or so were built.
