SIMPLE ITALIAN TUNA SANDWICH
Brought to you by

1 (6 oz.) can Italian dark tuna
3-4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/4 1/2 stalk of celery, chopped
1/2 tomato, seeded and chopped
6 or 7 black olives, chopped or sliced thin
1 teaspoon balsamic or wine vinegar

NOTE: If you're not going to use Italian tuna (such as Pastene or Tonno), don't bother making this salad. It just won't taste right.
1, Drain off the oil that the tuna is packed in.

2. Place the tuna in a small bowl. Add the olive oil, and break up the tuna, mixing it together with the oil.

3. Add the chopped onion, celery, tomato, and olives, and vinegar.

4. Mix everything thoroughly.

Will make 2 or 3 sandwiches, depending on type and size of bread slices.

HOPE THIS HELPS! ;-)

Start with the best canned tuna, I like lite chunk in water. Mix with mayo., salt, pepper, chopped hard boiled egg, some onion powder and pickle relish. Put on fresh bread or roll with lettuce and if you like, very thin slices of tomato.

This works best with a toaster oven.

A slice of bread topped with cheese - stick it in the oven and broil until bread is toasty and cheese is bubbly and singed a little...then while that is still hot, squirt some mustard on and top with tuna mixed with mayo, onion and celery (finely chopped) then eat!

First of all, I take a can of tuna packed in water, not oil & drain well. Mix in a couple of boiled eggs - chopped, mayo, a little spicy mustard, a dash of horseradish, salt & pepper. Served on toasted wheat bread with a pickle spear on the side.......I'm going to go fix one now!

Tuna with slice of Tomato preferably in a pita-pocket rather than bread slices with crunchy fresh lettuce, small bits of chili pepper and the tuna cooked with cheese. Of course the usual addition of salt and pepper.Yummmm...now I'm hungry... I think I'll go make it right now!
