me and my mom were out working in the yard and my mom was bent over and she was cutting weeds... and then these 2 60- year old pervs come by andare like ow ow and wahoo!! keep it coming. stuff like that and my mom is in her late 40's and i know she didnt hear it bc i just know. i was ab out to yell pervs but i didnt want my mom to know what they did.
what should i do. im so outraged!!!
i know its wrong and sick but why am i so mad at them?? should i be. im a kid i dont know everything hive me answers

well i typed this in like 2 minutes so i did not have time to like re-read it and i find it funny that most of u can see that..!! but i had a really bad bug bite and i had to ice it so thats when i typed it. sorry and after reading most of ur answers i realized something and i though it was funny when somone said that its hard tot beleive that ur parents are hotttt.... i guess my mom looks good but not hot! EW!! but it really bothered me and i think u people helped. thanks

My mom was helping me move once and the guy in the next building started saying "Hey toots" "sweet-thang" etc to her.
I think the best wasy to handle that is to turn and face them completely and say "Excuse me?" Usually, they will turn away, but if not, say "Would you want someone talking to wife or daughter that way? I didn't think so. Excuse me." And walk off.

Believe me, your mom heard them.
Oftentimes ignoring such out and out rude behavior is the best way of making it go away quickly. Even calling them 'pervs' opens up lines of discussion that will only lengthen the encounter.
When you get a chance I would talk to your mom. "Mom, what those guys said to you really bothered me. How come you didn't say anything to put them in their place?" Maybe the two of you could learn something from each other.
(And you are totally within your rights to be furious and disgusted with their behavior. It was beyond boorish)

Your mom, as you one day will be, is a woman. Now I know that what happened may have caused you to become unnerved, but that's what men do, they cat-call to attractive women. Even a 60 yo man is still that, a man. The day your mom STOPS getting the attention of men is the day you should be concerned.

Those men were just rude and inappropriate. I know your mom seems old to you but I am sure she is very attractive. It is normal to be protective of your mom. It is quite possible she did hear them but ignored them because her baby girl was with her. And by the way, 60 year old men should know better than to act like that.

I hate those perverts as well. Whenever my sister and I walk on the streets, they always howl and whistle. I think it's so nasty. I mean, we weren't even wearing slutty clothes like some people do. It's just a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. It's okay though. Those perverts are always like that. The next time, just say "EW!" or look disgusted on your face and put them to shame! lol. =)

I'm a teen too, and the same thing happened to my mom! We just laughed it off, because even though it is weird, just think of it as a compliment. They were probably just joking anyways! Isn't it weird that even parents can be "hot"? :-)

To answer your question, if it bothered your mother, I am sure she would've said something versus her child saying something rude to other adults.

When you are in the similar situation next time, just yell out all you soul. Scare them. They are on the wrong side, not you. They must be stopped in their tracks. Do it. You will feel strong and positive.
