Tuesday, my cat started vomiting up her food. At first we thought it was just from a hairball, although we did not find any hair where she got sick. She started hiding from the family, under beds and away from everyone when she usually likes to be around people. Wednesday, she got sick again so we took her to the vet. The vet said she had a slight temp. and gave her an antibotic, and something to settle her stomach in case she had a stomach flu. She also seemed dehydrated so the vet gave her some fluids. Now she won't eat at all or drink anything. The vet put her on an antibiotic to give her at home, took x-rays, and blood work. The x-rays did not reveal any problem and the blood work didn't find anything wrong with the cat either. She's still not eating, hiding from everyone, feels warm, and just sleeps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

She's been fixed and is 15 years old, she's not pregnant.

Sounds bad to me, I would have the file sent over to another vet clinic and get a second opinion. You need the cat to at least be drinking! This is not good, you need to make some decisions right away.

Take her temp. If it above 102.5, she has a fever and the vet should be called. Check for dehydration also. If the cat is still ill and not eating or drinking, something is wrong and waiting is a bad idea.
