My retard of a sister syraped BioSpot Inverted Carpet Spray around our house before we were able to get out cats out of the house.

What should we do?

Open the windows, and vacuum. Wipe down the surfaces that the cats walk on and sleep on. (for example window sills etc...) There may be a phone number on the container, for advice as well.

Biospot is rubbish stuff, it's not worth ten cents never mind how much you paid for it. I'm afraid no flea treatment from a store is likely to be effective.

Do what the first answerer said - open windows to ventilate the place. Then, for proper flea control, visit the vet for some Frontline and a proper housespray.

Look on the package or go to the company website and look for a 1-800 number. Grab the package and call your vet and be prepared to describe the ingredients. You can also call the ASPCA's poison control center - it is 24- hour (link below) but be prepared - they charge for the call. I agree - open all windows and air out the house and wash and bedding or fabrics the spray came in contact with.

It is crap. Next time spring for Frontline or Advantage. It actually works and it is a lot less harsh.
Watch the cats for any signs of poisioning. Lethargy, listlessness,vomiting.....anything unusual.
If anything occurs, seek vet treatment ASAP!!

Isn't it just a citronella type trash? It doesn't do anything but make the seller of the product rich. It won't get rid of fleas.
