I don't have kids, but everyone else I know does. Here is what I have observed (I also teach first grade so I am always with kids). Most people let their kids eat fast food. Often times, too much. Fast food is fine on occasion, but eating it all the time leads to unhealthy eating habits and can cause children to become overweight (I am sure you know this...I think everyone should).

I think kids are missing out by getting to eat fast food all the time, and not have dinners at home like everyone used to do when I was a kid. People ate out so much less. I think as a special treat or rare occasion, its just fine, but everyday or several times a week is just too much. I know people are busy now, but thrown something in the crock pot.

I used to work out of my home and it was really hard to make sure my kids ate healthy...

My oldest who is 7 yrs now was practically raised on French Fries and chicken nuggets...

He was born huge at 10lbs 12oz and I didn't help him much by feeding him fast food.

He attends Sylvan twice a week and it was easy to run in and feed him really quick... But, at age 6 1/2 he was over 100lbs... and I knew that I was to blame for this not him... I know that he was addicted to the food as well because every time he'd see the golden arches he'd SCREAM for it!

I began to feed him healthier foods and now I only let my family eat fast food once a month and we only go out to dinner once a month. Now we drive by fast food chains and it doesn't phase him thank goodness! He's now 7 1/2 and 4'10" but weighs 104lbs... He looks WONDERFUL! I have my boys in Karate and all 5 of us are healthier and happier.

Yes, occasionally. Probably once a month or so, we have to run through a drive-through to eat, or will order pizza out. I try to keep snacks on hand though, so that she'll last till I can get home and make real food for her.

occasionally we make a trip to McDonald's or another fast food place, but no more than twice a month. Fast food isn't the healthiest for them but eating things in moderation balances it out.

My parents do I preobably eat fast food like two or three times a week most of the time. It's not like we're eating it everyday that would be bad. I'll let my kids eat fast food as long as it's not everyday.

Yes, but not too often. During soccer season we do every thursday night because after soccer it is too late to cook, but we usually go to Wendy's where we can get salads and baked potatoes. My daughter (age 8) usually chooses a potato with broccoli and cheese on it and some chicken nuggets and my son will get a cheeseburger and a salad, so thats not too bad.

Once in a great while, in my opinion, eating fast food is the equivalent to sitting down to a bowl of delicious toxic waste. We don't even have pre-packaged meals in our house for the most part.

Sure, but not like, every week. Not even once a month, but yeah, I will let my daughter eat. She's only three months old right now, though. Lol.

maybe once every other month, and pizza maybe once a month, we have 5 kids, not only is it very bad for them, it costs too much for such a large family, cooking together is a big part of our quality time and everyone sitting together at the table is my favorite time of the day
