help help help! i saw a ghost?

i see ghosts occasionally, and it really doesnt effect me, well last night i saw a ghost that scared the crap out of me. i dont know why, but it made me feel unsafe. i was coming upstares at about 2 in the morning, when i saw my door was cracked with the light was on. (dont worry, thats how i left it) i noticed through the crack in the door, a shape that looked like a person. i couldnt see it very well, so i thought it was probablt just some junk or something and as soon as i touched the doornob, it ran away, when the door was all the way open, i looked around and saw nothing, just a messy room.. i was really scared so i went to the bathroom and right as i was at the doorframe, i heard a strange noise. i thought it might be just the pipes so when i took another step forward, i heard it a bit clearer, it was a girl whispering in my ear. she sounded about 6-10 inches away, but when i looked around, nothing. so i ran to my sisters room and demanded that she come with me

to go to the bathroom. I slept in her room last night if you can call what I did sleep. I was just sitting there in the dark all night just staring because now I was wide awake as if someone had hit me in the head. the strange thing is, when I heard her, I didn’t feel cold or hot or anything, its just that I felt like i was starved to death, but if I ate anything, I would puke. but what’s even stranger, my room is always like 1000 degrees hotter that all the other rooms in my house. but when I came in here this morning, it was like winter x2. please. I am so scared. HELP!

figure out if its somthing in the house or the house itself the ghosts are hanging around ... if someone was killed in the house i would personally move ... and i know some type of ghosts do actually exist because me and my brother both experienced things in my grandmothers house ... later after we got older we found out that the house was built over a sealed off cave that had been used by the indians to bury their dead ... so that was freaky ..

Ok ok calm down. heh...easier said than done.
I dont have any experience like this, but I can give you advice...and hope it helps you. Try to hear what she is saying, I guess. If she is not hurting you, prehaps she wants help or wants to tell you something. And try not to panic- that can result in you hurting yourself. I dont know about my personal beliefs about ghosts, as I dont have any experience, but If you genuinely think you saw a ghost, prehaps there is a reason. If you get too scared, talk to somebody, and try to see why this is happening. I hope this helped...you sound scared. Good luck.

Maybe evil spirits are in your house. Call on the name of Jesus and invite the Holy Spirit to take up residence in your heart before it gets worse!

Well, assuming this is real (and hey, I can always give the benefit of the doubt) I will tell you that I had a very similar (although not exact) experience here in Hawaii, when we lived here over 9 years ago.

My husband had been stationed here on the Marine Corps Base, and we were living in our "Government Quarters". Our house was quaint, from the 60's I believe (although I am not sure). The first experience I had was when my husband was training on the big island for a month. I had fallen asleep in the living room, in front of the tv on our couch/futon thingy. (We didn't have furniture). I was having a dream that was concurrent with what was actually happening, I was laying there sleeping, it was night, and I heard the front door handle move. (Jiggle). Then I heard my name in a heavy whisper, and my mind said "Oh hubby is home and trying to get in!" Then I heard my name again, this time even closer, so I got up. (And I actually did get up, not just dreaming) but when I did I realized, my husband could not be home at all, because he wasn't due back for another month. Then I realized I had been awoken by the sound of my own name.

The funny thing is that my neighbor told me 3 days later that she thought I had come to her window and called for her at night a few days back, (she was a nurse, she thought maybe something was wrong with my son) but that when she looked out the window I wasn't there. I asked her if it was a particular date, and she said it was and I told her "Oh $h#@!, I heard my name too!". We first thought of an intrudor, but realized neither of us knew anyone (we were both new there) that would know both of our names. The conclusion was the spirit of that duplex (we were connected @ the kitchen, by a wall) warned us of a possible intrudor.

So that's not it. I was spooked and when my husband deployed to Japan for 7 months, I asked the spirit not to bother me please until he came back, I was now a mother of 2 and couldn't handle being spooked in my own home. Oddly enough, it granted me 7 months of no interruptions. BUT, wouldn't you know, a month after my husband returned, the ghost started messing with me by turning on our CD player full blast on odd hours of the night, (not every day). My uncle had suggested I just turn the power off, and even after I had done that before going to bed, it still came on. So, one night I unplugged the stereo before going to bed. Sometime in the middle of the night, my oldest son toddled into our room and my husband walked him back to his (he had developed this habit of falling asleep in my sons room to keep him there, so he wasn't coming back). I was awake enough to know he hadn't shut our bedroom door and I don't like open doors to dark hallways, so I called out to him to shut it, and I heard a "click" which was the sound of the door.
About 1 minute later (I was laying on my side) I heard my name in my ear, so close that I felt the breath. I turned around expecting to see my husband and NO ONE was there. *(Couldn't have been my hubby, there was no way he could run that fast, besides, he came running in the room with a half heart attack look after I begin screaming my butt off. I too didn't sleep the rest of the night, I was plagued by nightmares and other odd occurances. The weird thing is that after all this I spent a few years learning about spirits and realized 9 out of 10 times they don't want to hurt you, only to communicate with you, but if they do scare you, they will be less likely to contact you again. We just moved back to Hawaii a few months ago and we got placed down the road from that house. People live there now and I so want to knock on their door and tell them "Did you know this house was haunted?"

:) Stay strong, tell them they are dead, and if they want to communicate with you, to not scare you or you wont listen.
