info on site to send soldiers care packages?

Question

My son an I want to send things that might be needed to soldiers or even Iraqis supporting us. anyway we can find needy soldiers or their families and send them things. Every soldier I know has extended family and really doesn't need much. I'm concerned for the soldier that does not have family.

The U.S. Postal Service introduced a Military Care Kit, or "Mili-kit" for military families and friends to send care packages to their loved ones stationed overseas. Since the inception of the Military Care Kit, the U.S. Postal Service has shipped more than 150,000 kits. Each kit contains two Priority Mail boxes, six Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes, eight Priority Mail labels, one roll of Priority Mail tape and eight customs forms with envelopes.

This kit may be ordered by calling the USPS Expedited Package Supply Center at 1-800-610-8734. There is no charge for the kit. The Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes included in the kit can be shipped to any APO/FPO in the world, regardless of weight, for $8.10.

What a great thing to do. I know that there were so many soldiers in my husbands company that were not getting anything at all.....but with people like you, it's possible for every soldier to get something! Thank you for that!!!
Another good idea is to send care packages to your local Vets home!! They are in need of many items as well.

you are able to the only factor is they are going to be sent precedence, that's greater than time-honored delivery, using fact the tape packing packing containers and so on have precedence revealed on them and the submit workplace in trouble-free terms sends those issues precedence, my husband is deployed yet im no longer paying 5 to ten funds extra a container to get the loose stuff its no longer properly worth it, using fact as quickly because it hits the protection stress mailing gadget all of it strikes on the comparable speed...
